What is Pigment AI?
Pigment AI is a set of AI capabilities designed to help finance, sales and supply chain teams be more productive and deliver better business outcomes.
Currently, there are four generative AI assistants and machine learning forecasting (in beta) available as part of Pigment’s AI capabilities.

- Data Assistant—Visualize and drill into data to quickly build dashboards or reports
- Insights—Understand your performance and make adjustments to meet your goals
- Documentation Assistant—Flatten the learning curve and accelerate modeling with contextual knowledge

What data protection measures are there?
Pigment AI prioritizes the security and confidentiality of your data. We use trusted vendors’ pre-trained models under an Enterprise agreement with Zero Data Retention (ZDR). This ensures that:
- Your data is never stored or retained by our AI vendors.
- Your information is not used for training, monitoring, or any other purposes by our AI vendors.
Additionally, Pigment follows rigorous industry standards for data security and compliance to protect your data.
How do I activate and deactivate Pigment AI?
By default all AI features are deactivated. To access them, request activation by creating a ticket with our Product Support team. You also create a support ticket to deactivate them. Pigment offers its full range of standard functionalities for users who prefer not to engage with AI.
Does Pigment AI work in multiple languages?
Yes, Pigment AI accepts multiple languages for natural language queries, data enrichment, and output generation. However, specific language capabilities may vary depending on the feature.
Is Pigment AI compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations?
Yes, Pigment AI is fully compliant with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations. We ensure that all AI interactions are secure, and no data is used beyond its intended purpose.
Can I rely solely on Pigment AI for decision-making?
While Pigment AI can assist in decision-making by providing insights, human validation and expertise are crucial for ensuring accuracy and context-specific decisions. AI should be used as a tool to augment, not replace, human judgment.
