Pigment is making improvements to its product documentation. Starting in October, the documentation will have a fresh look and move to our new dedicated site, while the Community will remain exactly where you access it today. This article answers questions about the improvements and explains how the changes affect you.

While the articles’ content remains the same, the user experience has been updated. Pigment’s new documentation site features a modern design and a streamlined interface to help you find what you need, faster. Below is a guide to some key enhancements:

2️⃣ Left navigation pane | Browse and select from all articles in one easy view. Open accordions to explore the structure by topic area. Close the pane to expand view of articles. |

4️⃣ Filter search | Filter search results using keywords. |
5️⃣ Right navigation pane | Track where you are in the article and select sections to jump to. Close the pane to expand view of articles. |
6️⃣ Listen to article | Play audio of the article content. |
7️⃣ Progress bar | Track your progress as you advance down the article. |

With this upgrade, the in-App Help links now open a new URL and no action is needed. If you experience any broken links or slow page loads, open a Support ticket.
If you have bookmarks to certain articles, you can update them to the new URLs to be sure they load quickly, without going via a redirect:
- Select your existing bookmark. A redirect forwards you to the articles’ new permanent locations.
- Re-bookmark your pages from the new locations.

Which sections are moving and which are staying?
Your favorite Community categories, listed below, will stay at their current URLs:

- Community Hub
- Questions & Conversations
- Career Forum
- Pigment Academy
- Company News
- Insider Guides (to include Technical Tips, The Pigment Frame and Customer Resources)
Only the Documentation and Becoming a Pigment Pro sections are moving, previously found under the Knowledge Base tab.
Will the content stay the same?
The documentation has the same content, aside from some new articles about our latest feature releases.
How do I access the new documentation site?
Most articles are available without logging in, just as before. The few articles that were behind a log-in will continue to require the same username and password as before. Submit a Support ticket if you have any difficulty gaining access.
Can I search in the Community for docs and vice versa?
Yes, the search function will continue to serve articles from both locations.
