Hi,Iv heard that it is not best practice to use formulas in transaction list properties due to the performance impact. However, Id like to tidy up imported data; extract dates, identify codes, build hierarchies etc. With other platforms I would import into a block as is and then manipulate the data in the platform. Would this be advised with Pigment?

Hi, currently the Pigment connector in google sheets breaks when the file is copied, is there any way to retain the existing connections, or is this a google sheets thing (like formulas pointing to external sheets breaking)?

We are looking at integrating the Linear App with Pigment via MCP or a Connector. I see there is no Linear Connector at this time, can we do if with MCP, we currently have one MCP integration set up but I don’t see the option to add another. 

Hi everybody,To my great surprise I saw that the powerpoint connector is now available. Christmas came early this year. I immediately tried it and already noticed a few things. But I was curious about the experiences of other users. For example - with grids, I noticed that the export of the grid sometimes moves beyond the border of the visual in powerpoint. And since it's a static picture there is no way to retrieve the rows or columns that fall under of after the border of the powerpoint visual. Another thing that I noticed deals with the width of the columns. For example, I have a certain grid that has columns in a certain width so that all the text fits. The export to powerpoint however squeezes the width of the column so you can't read all the text.Has anybody experienced the same or knows a workaround solution to these types of issues?Thanks, Bas 

 Sharing my thoughts on the issues in the advanced aggregators I have experienced - The Advanced aggregator works well for basic math operations between metrics where the underlying metrics have aligned dimensions. However, when working with metrics from mismatched dimensions—where a new calculated field is required to align them—the current 'advanced aggregator' is insufficient. In these scenarios, simply adding and hiding the original metrics does not resolve the summary-level discrepancies as no such manipulation of dimensions can be done except basic math operations. Ideally, we need an advanced aggregator function that supports formula-based summaries, allowing the summary level to replicate the specific calculation logic defined within the metric itself.   For the Advanced Aggregator to function properly, at least one of the two metrics must remain visible in the table. It will not work if both metrics are hidden—a table visibility restriction that requires showing an extra metri

Hi,I would like to create a mechanism to create a dimension from the user selecting combinations of other dimensions in a boolean formatted metric. For example; GL, Supplier and Project. User selects an intersection by checking a boolean. This can then be used to create an item in a list whose ID could be [GL][Supplier][Project].This dimension can then be used to assign forecast against.What is the simplest way to build this list?Thanks, 

If we restore an application, can we play around with the Analyst AI/Modeler AI in the recovered application in silo so that we can have a test environment to learn how to use the AI agents and to work on new features? 

Hello, I have a board where I’d like PO Number to be able to show up as a hyperlink to our procurement system. The hyperlink I have set-up and within the PO Number dimension (see image)However, I’m not aware of a way to get that dimension to appear as a clickable link within a table (e.g. here “6226” would refer to the hyperlink in my PO Number dimension, allowing the user to quickly click into our procurement system)I wasn’t sure if there was a way to accomplish this today, or if I should instead submit this as an Idea? I think it would be pretty helpful to be able to quickly connect the user to the source of the data. Thanks,Kristian

Hi,Id like to use the boolean result of a source metric to filter the view of a target. However, I cant seem to be able to set up the filter to take a value from a metric external to the metric to be filtered. Is this possible?If not, is there another way to using the filtering tool?

I set up a filter to display rows where a numeric metric is greater than a value. Is there any to test the numeric metric against another numeric metric, rather than the value input?  

I want a table that has costs actual ytd, costs budgeted ytd, costs ytd variance, costs full year budget, and costs YTG (i.e. total year budget less actuals YTD).However, my budget is captured as a scenario snapshot. Is this possible?

Hello, I am trying to give users the ability to initialise data from a statistically generated demand plan using Clone data in metrics. I am using the following set-up, and the clone appears to run, but no data is created in the metric and application history shows no values were moved.Data import set-up: Access rights for FCT_Demand Forecasting:   The entry in application history: The documentation analyst was helpful but ultimately didn’t give any indication of why this isn’t working. Automatically manage MTD / YTD / FY time aggregations, together with organisational / consolidated aggregation, for the following data types: “Stock” type – MTD: monthly value, YTD: same as MTD, FY: value of the last forecast month of the year “Weighted average” type – MTD: monthly value, YTD: average of YTD months (excluding blank values), FY: average of the 12 months of the year “Volume” type – MTD: monthly value, YTD: sum or average from the beginning of the year, FY: sum or average over the full forecast year “Calculated” type – calculated based on other data from the same period or from other periods; the metric must follow the Monthly formula logic “Variance” type – calculated as the difference or percentage change versus the selected comparison scenario

Within a single report, display a “Monthly” view limited to the main version  (current Fiscal Year - FY) only (i.e. no monthly view for prior years), together with MTD / YTD / FY / YTG views for three other versions (N-1, Budget, latest Forecast), as well as variances between the current FY and each of these three scenarios (i.e. no variances between those versions themselves, only versus the current FY) Considering the requirement above, manage version labels appropriately by displaying business-friendly names instead of technical names, while also allowing users to dynamically select the versions to view and compare within the report Use selectors rather than dedicated version selection tables for each version displayed in the board

Hi,We have added versions to our switchover date/month metric to be able to distinguish different switchover periods for each version. However, the period type property is now generating errors. Im unable to change the formula or delete the property. We have created an alternative mapping for period type in a dedicated mapping metric for each time dimension as the list property doesnt allow for this. How can I remove this property as its now redundant? 

Hi, My Our consolidated P&L is broken up into different boards and metrics. If I lost access to certain boards, how do I re-establish my access? I go through the dependency diagram to a board and it says I have admin access, but I can’t see a specific metric within that board. Is there some piece of the access piece I’m missing? Can I grant myself access back or does a system admin need to do it?

Hi all -- hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have a board that displays WoW revenue in relation to targets. Both Rev and Target are Metrics. Data for future weeks (based on standard Day) is null in Rev but populated for the Target Metric. I want all future weeks to be displayed in a chart using this view, but nothing I’ve tried from Pigment documentation has worked so far. I’m trying to created a ‘helper’ Metric with a formula to return ‘0’ for future weeks where Rev is null, but ISBLANK and pretty much anything else I’ve tried hasn’t worked. Is there anything else I can try?Thanks!

First, thank you Pigment team for listening to users’ feedback and create this new aggregator,However when trying this out I have some questions:For example I have this metric called Revenue per Volume (Total Revenue / Total Volume), but when I use Advanced Aggregator I can not select this specific metric, the Metric A and Metric B options show all other metrics except this Revenue per Volume,So, for this to work out, I need to add both Revenue metric and Volume metric, then setting these as Metric A and Metric B for my aggregator ? This sounds like duplicated works since I already have my Revenue per Volume metric built. Can you help me clarify my question here? Thank you!

This is related to Page selectors. I have observed that “Select all” is missing in cases where the members in a list are less and this option is available when there are more members available. Is there a way to enable “Select all” on all page selectors irrespective of the number of members they contain?1.  No select all Select all present  

When building Org Charts, I have observed inconsistencies in formatting. If I format my metrics as Rich Text, and apply bold or italics formatting, it will not show such in Org Chart Tiles, but if I click on a tile and see the same in expanded form, it shows proper formatting.Similarly, I also want to show ‘0’ as “-”. I applied this using ‘zero display’ formatting setting to ‘-’. It changes so in table view but as soon as we shift to org chart view, it doesn’t show it. Moreover, in table view in gets rid of any prefix applied. Prefix are required when showing any property or value. So, I want that I can change blanks or zeroes to “-” and have prefixes intact within the org chart. Currently I have achieved this using text metrics, but would be better, if I can directly format number metrics for an org chartDo these inconsistencies stem from limitations within the tool, or is there a more appropriate way to apply the formatting?

I am working on a BvA board and we need a placeholder (dimensioned text) to let the users come and drop there notes there. The catch here is only this text box has to be an editable field for them and rest of it has to be read only.
