Hello all - I am new to Pigment and am having some serious difficulty staging up a lease schedule for my client. The client wants to input future forecasted leases as follows:Step 1: Select a region from a drop down menu The region is already dimensioned via “L1 Geo” Step 2: A lease value column should prepopulate based on default regional values. The “L1 Geo” dimension has two additional columns with default Lease Values and default Cage values. Step 3: A “Cage Fee” column should prepopulate based on default regional values. The “L1 Geo” dimension has two additional columns with default Lease Values and default Cage values. Step 4: A rent escalator column should prepopulate with 3% Step 5: A term column should prepopulate with 60 months Step 6: A “Start Date” column should be manually entered Step 7: A monthly view should show two separate calculations that starts based on the start date of the lease: Lease value amortization & Cage Fee amortization. So far I have the follo
Hi All,Does anyone know how “Auto-Input Using Default Page Items” this works? There is metric with data type dimension. Same dimension is on the page selectors. The value of the page selector should also be the value in this metric
My headcount planning app currently uploads a headcount report on a monthly basis and the forecast basically rolls forward after every new month and the only way I can compare changes over months is to take a snapshot and change the switchover month. How should I approach making this update since it seems like I would have to rework the entire application and add a version to every metric? My current thought is that a budget version is tied to a specific months load, so I can do a mapping for load month → version but does that work?Example:Current monthly data by load monthExpected Result if I want to use June load month for BoD Version. The data from Jul onwards would only use data up to the June load and not use anything beyond that. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!
I have a rather large transaction list (roughly 5M rows) with several dimensions. I need to map the combination of these unique dimensions to assign my data into user managed groupings. To do that, I need to do a 2 part calculation by first concatenated the various dimensions and then matching it to the grouped dimension.MATCH('_ Subscriber Activity'.'Account Type'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Product Group'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Product Subscribe Group'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Device Sub Cohort'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Device Type Cohort'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Marketplace Cohort'.Name &"-"& '_ Subscriber Activity'.'Customer Subscribe Category'.Name,'_ Product Attributes'.Name) The problem is that I get an error that is: “Product Attributes: Formula timed out (> 3 minutes)”. I’m not sure how to work around this error with a more optimized approach. Any help will be much app
Hello Pigment Community,Our organisation is currently undergoing a migration to utilise SQL data warehouses on Databricks, and we're looking to transition our connection from Redshift to Databricks. However, we haven't found a straightforward, out-of-the-box solution to establish this connection.Could anyone from the Pigment team or community members who have faced similar challenges provide guidance on the proposed solution for connecting directly to Databricks? We currently have a workaround involving copying our Data Lake models into S3 and then connecting from there, but we're eager to explore a more direct integration.Thank you in advance!
Hi,Can someone please tell me about the best practice for Data Cloning in metrics from one version to another such that even data which is the result of a formula gets cloned when new version is added? This is my find with regards to data cloning:1) In formula driven metrics with manual override on, only manual inputs get cloned. Data resulting from formula does not get cloned.
Hi,I’m trying to set up an iterative calculation to use the PREVIOUSOF function to address a circular reference. However, in my application the setup doesn’t appear the same as described in the article “Iterative Calculations Across Multiple Blocks Using PREVIOUSOF.”Instead of showing options for Cycle Name, Iteration Dimension, and Metrics That Can Reference Each Other (as mentioned in the article), it only gives me the option to add an iterative calculation and asks me to select the Base Metric and Allowed Metric.
Hi All,Although PREVIOUSBASE() is replaced by PREVIOUSOF(), why am I unable to see that update in my workspace?I am only able to use PREVIOUSBASE and it keeps throwing me circular reference error.According to this documentation - This should be new interface where we don’t need to select a base metric Instead, while setting up iterative calculation to use PREVIOUSOF, this is my current interface Can someone please tell me how I can start using the new update?

When exporting raw data from a Table or Metric, you have the option of filtering rows using AND/OR logic within exportFilter. This article provides guidance and examples. How to write the exportFilter query tree Required keys by type Examples Use exportFilter to filter rows when exporting a Table or a Metric. It lets you combine Dimension and value conditions with AND/OR logic. For example, for a “Revenue” Metric with Dimensions “Month” and “Account”, you can build queries like: Filter on Month = [“May 2025”] AND Revenue ≥ 100,000 Filter on Month = [“May 2025”] AND (Revenue ≥ 100,000 OR Account = [“Acme Inc”, …]) ℹ️ NoteThe legacy filters field is deprecated. If you send both filters and exportFilter, they’re combined with an implicit AND. How to write the exportFilter query tree Sketch out your exportFilter logic as a recursive tree. Every node needs a type: Use a Dimension node to filter on Dimension values (for example, filter on specific Months or Accounts) Use a Value node to
Hi Pigment - would you please share the difference between Previousbase and Previousof. They look the same from the documentation perspective. Thanks,Louie

Is there a way to make the dashboard load faster ?E.g. There is a dashboard having a grid with 50 metrics (all of the metrics are with ‘Customers’ dimensionality) and 10 filters on top of the board. If only 1 filter is selected, it doesn’t load the view/grid
