Turn Reports from being one-off analyses into living, integrated insights that can be consistently shared across the organization. You can either have the Agent generate Reports automatically after each iteration of the Mission, or you can edit Reports manually before sharing. Reports can be exported to a specific cell of a Metric with the Text data type for use on a Board, so that Members without the permissions and access rights to run Missions can see Agent Mission Reports.

Edit a Report

Reports are a combination of text and charts that can be freely edited. They support rich-text formatting, allowing bullet points, headings, italics, and more.

You can see all completed Missions in the AI Agents screen:

  1. In your Application, select Settings from the sidebar, and AI Agents.

  2. Ensure Show/Hide History is toggled to show all Mission runs.

  3. Select View output.

You can edit the text by typing directly in the page. Delete individual charts by selecting them and pressing the Delete key. You can also reorganize charts by simply dragging and dropping them into the desired position. Expand and update them and save the Temporary View. To access the formatting options, select some text to trigger the rich text toolbar.

Save your changes by selecting Save Report.

Data links in Reports

You can interrogate the Agent’s findings in your Report by clicking on data links. Hover your pointer over highlighted numbers in the Report and select to open a View showing the context behind that data point.

This feature is currently in development. Because the Agent computes relevant data points before generating the Views providing context, in some edge cases, the View may temporarily:

  • Miss certain filters.
  • Open the wrong context, such as an incorrect Metric.

Share a Report

When you configure a Mission, you can add a method for exporting your output in the final step. Currently the only method available is exporting to a Text Metric, with more methods coming soon.

By exporting to a Text Metric, you can:

  • Share Reports with business users who don’t need direct access to Missions.
  • Display the Report on a Board for easy access and visibility.
  • Preserve rich text formatting (headings, bullet points, etc.) for clear communication.
  • Control access to the Report content by setting permissions on the Text Metric.
  • Keep analyses versioned and reusable, making it easy to refresh or compare outputs over time.
  • Streamline collaboration by ensuring insights are accessible to the right stakeholders without requiring them to interact directly with the Agent.

To configure your export, do as follows:

  1. Select + Add then Export to a Text Metric.

  2. In the dialog that opens, select from the dropdown of Metrics with the Text data type in your Application. The selected Metric does not need to be AI-enabled.

    ℹ️ Note

Ensure you have Rich Text Formatting switched on for the selected Metric, so that headlines, bullet points and bolds in the Report are preserved.

  3. Fields appear for you to define which cell to export to in that Metric. At present you can export to a single cell only, with functionality for multiple cells and multiple recipients coming soon. You can select a variable to export to, such as “Current month”.

  4. Choose between two export modes:

    • Automatically export: every time the mission runs, the Report is exported automatically.

    • Don't export: trigger the export manually from the Report once you’ve edited and validated the content.

Next steps

The following features and improvements are coming soon to the Analyst Agent:

Snapshots

Reference historical data directly in your instructions. Snapshots let you capture and use data points from specific moments in time (currently available only for clients with native Scenarios).

Mission Builder Agent

Writing the perfect prompt can be tricky. Our new conversational Mission Builder Agent will help you create the right prompts just by talking to it.

Report packs

Instead of generating just one report per Mission, you’ll soon be able to create entire packs of reports in one go. For example, run the same Mission across all Departments, and instantly generate a customized report for each. Reports will be exportable to a Metric with the Department Dimension, so every team sees only their own tailored version directly on the Board.

Reference existing Views in instructions

Leverage your existing Views as part of your instructions. The Agent will automatically set up the right Pages dynamically, based on the Mission context.

Scheduling

Automate your reporting with scheduled Missions. Set them to run every week or every month, and simply get notified when your Reports are ready—no manual effort required.
