I am working on setting up an integration between TeamOhana (headcount platform) and Pigment, which needs to be connected through an API request. Using this link, I have been able to set up the API connection and the action button to trigger the integration but I am unsure of where is the data getting pulled into? Do I need to set up a transaction list beforehand and then somehow link API request so the transaction data in Pigment gets updated? Essentially where is my data going if the API request result shows successful?

FYI: It is Authentication: Bear <token> set up.

Hi,

to import into Pigment, whatever the way you choose, you need to first do a manual import into a block (metric or dimension):

How to manually run imports | Community (pigment.com)

This saved import will give you an ID that is then part of the URL used by the API

Hi,

The link you refer to is a capability within Pigment to notify an external service via an API call. That external service could then make a request, for example, to pull data from TeamOhana and then push that data into Pigment using the Pigment Import API into a previously defined import configuration.
