Changing calendar settings

Hi,
I’ve bullied an app and set up the calendar and set the start month to January. Now that everything is set up we want to change the start month to February . Is it possible?

Hi Ronit,

Yes, you can easily go back to the settings > Calendar tab and change the Start date and End date. 

What you can’t do is changing the calendar type and remove Actual vs Forecast if already enabled.

I see that I can’t change the first month of the fiscal year. if I change the start date to 02/01/2021 and the end date to 01/01/2026 it will change this parameter?

Hi,

Indeed, this can’t be changed. And changing the Start date won’t change the first month of the fiscal year.

Hi, I have a question. I tried setting up my calendar and for some reason it created a switchover metric but nothing else was created. I was finally able to set up my calendar but not I cannot check the box for differentiating between actual and forecast month and I keep running into an error.

Hi @newtopigment ,

It might be a glitch. As it seems you are still in the early stage of your build, you could delete the calendar and rebuild it or you could create the ‘switchover date’ metric manually with data type as Date.

Hi, 

By any chance have you already manually created some calendar items before creating your calendar and named them the same? (like Month, Year, ...)
