We have an input transaction list for new seat requests. In this list, a manager and above can come an ask for a new seat / headcount and that is determine by Supervisory Org.

So if I am a Senior Manager, I can come and request for a Manager position and so on.

We also have a dimension list called Supervisory Org 1 which determines what is the Org of an employee and what are the levels above.

Now we want to pull the levels for the new seat based on the manager’s level. But this is giving us the circular reference error.

Bottom line is we are using the dimension list to pull the levels in transaction list based of of hiring manager level and now we want to put it back in the dimension for the hiring position.

Any workaround for this situation?
