Experiences with powerpoint connector

Hi everybody,

To my great surprise I saw that the powerpoint connector is now available. Christmas came early this year. I immediately tried it and already noticed a few things. But I was curious about the experiences of other users. 

For example - with grids, I noticed that the export of the grid sometimes moves beyond the border of the visual in powerpoint. And since it's a static picture there is no way to retrieve the rows or columns that fall under of after the border of the powerpoint visual. 

Another thing that I noticed deals with the width of the columns. For example, I have a certain grid that has columns in a certain width so that all the text fits. The export to powerpoint however squeezes the width of the column so you can't read all the text.

Has anybody experienced the same or knows a workaround solution to these types of issues?

    Hey Bas! I have the same issues. Charts look ok, but every grid I have tried is getting cut off - both in the amount of columns (for example I have Jan - Dec in the view but can only see until May) and in the row / column headers (can only see the first half of the labels). I’ve tried everything and can’t figure out how to fix.

    Hello Bas, 

    We introduced the Zoom level in the connection configuration to solve this problem of grid being cut off. If the grid is too big, decrease the zoom level and try to pull it again!

    Regarding the text not fitting anymore in the grid width, please open a ticket so that we can investigate.

      Hi Pierre,

      Thanks, I’ve sent in a ticket. Reducing the zoom level indeed helps to see all the data - but the row and column labels remain the same unfortunately.
