I am hiding some rows on the sheet view, but every time the board gets refreshed, it reverts back to original formatting with all the rows visible. How can this be fixed?

Hello Olga,

The Sheet view is composed of 2 parts:

  • The “Pivot” : the part of the view that is controlled by Pigment, starting at the top left position.
  • “Outside the pivot” : the part of the view which is below the Pivot, and to the right of the Pivot, this is your “free space”.

If you make changes outside the pivot, they will be saved. But if you make changes that impact the Pivot, those changes will be reset. For example let’s say you have an Account dimension down the rows. If you hide a row in the Pivot, Pigment will always show all accounts when you re-open the view. So, if you want to hide a row that is controlled by the pivot, you have to hide it either using the page filters (with Accounts in pages as well) or the view filter, or by selecting which metrics to show/hide in the pivot panel (depends on how your view is pivoted)

Hey @Olga Vovk,

Atfer each time you made changes to the widgets on Boards, Pigment will auto pop up the “Save View” option below on the top right of that widget,

Make sure to hit “Save this view” afterwards to keep your changes!

That option does not pop up for some reason when making formatting changes to “Sheet” view.

Sorry I don’t follow your answer. Why would Pigment have a feature to hide a row within the sheet and won’t give an option to save this formatting? Thanks! @Nathan
