Hi,

In the Pro Training (2.0), in the workforce planning module, there is on page 7 of the pdf, building the metrices.

I don’t understand why the structure of the Manager is the same as for the Employee. Shouldn’t the Data type dimension be Employee Manager?

Thanks in advance

Hey Karin,

The Employee Manager metric is a reporting metric with the same dimension data type as Employee, allowing for the creation of a reporting hierarchy. This design ensures alignment and simplifies hierarchical relationships. For more information on how to set up your org chart, you can check out this article:

Hi Community,

I am now coursing the Pro Training (2.0), and I found now that the Data Type for the “Employee Manager” metrics is the “Employee Manager” dimension.

However, I agree that it should use the “Employee” dimension because: 1) it makes sense, 2) we have not created the dimension, 3) it follows the replies to this question.

Was the pdf updated? Should it be changed back?

Best,
Andrés

Hi Andrés,

Thanks for flagging this. You are correct - that is an error in the course. The Dimension data-type should be ‘Employee’.

I will ensure this gets updated.

Cheers,

Hi Matt,
Happy to help! Just FYI, the error repeats itself in the same document.

Cheers,
