From time to time, community members run into an issue where they can’t access certain articles or pages even though they know they should have access.

Most of the time, the solution is simple: you may have been logged out of the community without realizing it. 🔑

Why This Happens 🤔

For security reasons, the community platform automatically logs users out after a period of inactivity. This isn’t always obvious, so it can look like a page is restricted or missing when in reality it’s just a matter of signing back in.

What to Do ✅

  1. Check the top-right corner of the community.
  2. If you see “Log In” instead of your profile picture, it means you’ve been logged out.
  3. Click Log In and use your Pigment credentials.

Once you’re signed back in, you should be able to access everything again!

Tip 💡

If you know you’ll be browsing the community regularly, it can help to keep the tab open and refresh it from time to time so your session stays active.

That’s it! Next time you can’t access a page you expect to see, the first thing to check is whether you’re still logged in.
