My main focus is leading our Pigment implementation, especially for FP&A, helping move our financial planning models from spreadsheets into Pigment.

Can you tell us a little about your career journey?
I started my career in Business Intelligence, using Power BI to build dashboards for customer departments. After about three years, a friend encouraged me to try consulting, which is when I was introduced to Pigment.
It was a major career change. I had no finance background, no Pigment experience, and consulting was very different from working in a corporate environment. There were several moments when I considered giving up.
Looking back now, I am incredibly grateful I stayed with it. Those experiences helped me grow quickly, and they also prepared me to adapt to the rapid pace of technology and AI that we're seeing today.
If someone was just getting started with Pigment today, what advice would you give them?
My biggest recommendation is to use the Pigment Community. There is an incredible amount of valuable knowledge shared by other users, and it's one of the best places to learn. In fact, I encourage every new colleague or team member joining us to leverage the Community from the beginning.
One of the ways I learned the fastest was by trying to help other people answer their questions in the Community. It helped me deepen my own understanding of Pigment while building connections with other users. You'll often come across situations that you'll later face in your own work, so those discussions become incredibly valuable.
I also highly recommend the Pigment Academy. The courses are well structured, cover almost every topic, and provide a great foundation for learning the platform.
Finally, stay curious. Keep up with new releases, get involved in Community discussions, and subscribe to posts that interest you. Pigment evolves quickly, and staying engaged is one of the best ways to continue learning.
