The latest Pigment updates this June are all about clarity and connectivity. Gain more confidence in your formulas, make charts easier to interpret, bring in more external data, and empower Agents with new ways to find answers and take action.

Watch the Q2 Product Release Webinar On Demand

Missed our latest product release webinar? Watch the recording to see new Agentic Planning capabilities, UX and reporting enhancements, and Test & Deploy updates in action. Discover the latest innovations designed to reduce manual effort, improve model governance, and deliver faster insights.

Preview formulas before Modeler applies them

The Modeler Agent can now show you the output of new or updated formulas in the Formula Playground before they are applied. Open the Playground directly from the Agent conversation to check that your View looks as expected. You can then accept the formula or edit and re-run it before returning it to the Agent.

Bring your full Ashby pipeline into Pigment

Get a complete view of your recruiting pipeline with new Ashby imports for Openings, Offers and Applications at any stage. Connect roles, candidates, offers and hires to build richer recruiting reports, track candidates throughout the hiring process and gain deeper visibility into your hiring funnel.

Reveal SELECT transformations in formulas

SELECT always applies one of four transformations depending on its context. But which? Now you can easily discover what changed using new hints. Click SELECT in the formula bar to open a pop-up explaining the transformation and Blocks affected.

Compare View versions with last edited time

Review View changes with greater confidence using the new last edited time comparison in granular deployment. Compare source and target Views side by side, see when a target View is newer, and avoid accidentally overwriting recent updates in Production.

Make charts clearer with high-contrast labels

Make charts easier to read and customize with high-contrast labels and an updated Format Chart panel. Labels now automatically stand out against their background across multiple chart types, while the refreshed layout makes it faster to find formatting options and adjust chart settings.

Restore Metric data with Recovered Applications

Recover Metric data faster with Recovered Applications as a source for Metric-to-Metric imports. Restore data from automatic Pigment backups in just a few clicks, without exporting files or creating a Snapshot first. Combined with Local Deployment, you can roll back both model and data to the same point in time.

Master your data with the new Pigment Views series

Take full control of your Workspace with our new four-part training series. Learn to pivot Dimensions, strip away grid noise with advanced filtering, and layer in custom calculations like Offsets—all without altering the underlying model. Build high-impact KPI widgets, apply visual templates, and deconstruct complex Metrics with total confidence.

Add the power of the web to Agents

Give Pigment Agents access to the wider web so they can bring fresh context, broader knowledge, and richer analysis into their answers. Agents can now search the internet when needed, going beyond your Workspace context to find relevant, up-to-date information.
You stay in control: choose exactly which websites Agents can access, or allow open access to the full web.

Import Snapshot data with List-to-List imports

You can now use Snapshots as the source for List-to-List imports. Reuse historical List data such as headcount, account balances at a specific point in time, or product catalogs directly in live Applications without manual exports and imports. Item matching options help keep imports reliable when Snapshot references no longer exist in the live model, letting you choose whether to fail the import or reject affected rows.

Meet the minds behind the numbers

Hear your fellow planners and meet the minds behind the numbers. Pigment Portraits is a podcast series that opens the door to how high-performing organizations build plans, make decisions, and adapt in moments that matter. Pooja Agrawal (Docker), Sophia Fatakhova (Chime) and Sara Park (The Coca-Cola Company) have already shared their professional journey and biggest accomplishments.

Would you like us to share your story on Pigment Portraits? We would be thrilled to frame your portrait: share your interest here!
