Extend Pigment’s power into every AI platform

Pigment's MCP Server is the secure, open-standard way for AI platforms like ChatGPT to access Pigment planning data and logic. Let these platforms analyze performance, compare actuals to budget, or run Pigment agents (coming soon), through the same data model and business logic you already use. With support for more LLMs on the way, be part of the very first EPM provider offering this capability.

Connect Pigment with Databricks

You can now connect your Databricks Tables directly to Pigment to enable secure and efficient data imports across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This integration uses the Delta Sharing protocol to provide seamless data sharing—no manual exports or maintenance required.

Access Data from Snapshots with the Analyst Agent

The Analyst Agent can now seamlessly access and analyze data from Snapshots! This means you can directly compare live Application data against historical Snapshots within your analyses. To access Snapshots, make sure native Scenarios are activated in your Workspace, then reference the Snapshots as shown in the docs.

Collapse all rows and columns instantly

You can now instantly collapse or expand all rows and columns in a grid, making it easier to manage complex views. Start from a fully collapsed layout, then expand only the Items that matter most to your analysis. You can also set default expansion states for Items and their children to control how your grid appears.

Ask Analyst Agent for multi-Metric calculations!

Compare different Metrics directly in your analyses! Unlock new calculations like Absolute differences (e.g. “Compare Quota vs Target”), Ratios (e.g. “Calculate NTR = Gross Profit / GMV”), and Growth calculations (e.g. “Show Gross Profit as a % of Revenue”). Remember, when working with ratios, prompt with “top items with the highest ratio,” not “top contributors.”

See Pigment as users see it with upgraded Impersonation

Announcing a major upgrade to the Impersonation feature! From now on, when an admin impersonates a user, they experience the full Pigment interface exactly as that user sees it—including the Applications available to them, the Boards they can access and the actions they can perform. Understand user permissions, troubleshoot access issues, or reproduce reported bugs—all without logging in to their account.

Add Half-years natively to your Calendar

There is a new time Dimension available for your Calendar: Half! Pivot your data into first-half and second-half results with this native Dimension, or use it with time and date functions such as INPERIOD(), PRORATA() and TIMEDIM().
If your sales, accounts or other business cycle have a half-yearly cadence, add Half and set up your other Time Dimensions as Properties.

Streamline Application duplication and dependency management

You can now duplicate up to five Applications at once, including some dependencies which will automatically be connected. This makes it faster to test setups or manage complex models.
Choose to duplicate all dependencies for a complete copy or only the ones you need for more flexibility.

Explore the latest T&D releases

Recent T&D updates make environment management smoother and more flexible. You can now copy Workspace settings like logos, color palettes, and image domains across environments for consistency. Partial Deployments support Application deletions for clearer customization, while email and Slack deployment notifications are now off by default, giving users full control over what they receive.

Apply access right rules to all List Properties

Managing access rights just got simpler! You can now choose to apply access right rules to all Properties of a List in one click. With this new option, any new Properties you create will automatically have the same access settings—no more manual updates to your rules. This ensures consistent permissions, reduces maintenance, and keeps your lists secure by default.

Distinguish between updates with Loader colors

The Loader icon now shows who’s making changes in real time. When you hover over widgets that are updating, the spinner color reflects who initiated the update: blue for your inputs and gray for another Member’s updates. You can continue editing while updates process and select the Loader to view details about what’s changing.

We're always looking to improve, so please don't be shy and share your comments via email, by contacting your Customer Success Manager, or here on our Community!!

All the best from everyone at Pigment.
