This is where you begin your journey in Pigment: signing in to your Workspace. In this article, we walk you through the essential steps to access your Workspace. We understand that first-time you sign in can sometimes be challenging, so we’re ready with troubleshooting solutions if needed. Let's get started!

 

How do I sign in to Pigment? 

To create your Pigment account, your company’s Workspace Admin needs to invite you. You’ll receive an email invitation with a link to create your password. When you sign into Pigment, remember to use your professional email account.

 

Reset your password

If you forget your password, click Forgot password and follow the instructions in your email. However, you may receive a message saying that you can’t reset your password. When this happens, check for an email from Pigment inviting you to set a password. You must complete this step before using the Forgot password option.

 

Missing invitation emails

You might not have received an invitation email because your email was not set up.

That is, the invitation was sent before your email address was active, so you never received it. In such case, further attempts to resend an activation email may fail as well. Ask your Workspace Admin to submit a Pigment Support ticket to request a resend.

If you didn't receive an email, we suggest you do the following:

  • If you're using SSO, log into Pigment directly instead.
  • Check your trash and spam folders if you don't see the email in your inbox.
  • Ask your Workspace Admin to resend the activation email.
  • If you still haven't received an activation email, ask your Workspace Admin to submit a Pigment Support ticket to request a resend.

 

Expired invitation email

You might not be able to use an invitation email for the following reasons:

  • Expired link. The invitation email was sent over 30 days ago and the link has expired. Ask your Workspace Admin for a new invite.
  • Removed access. Your account was deactivated. Ask your Workspace Admin to reactivate it.

 

Troubleshooting your sign in

We’re sorry to hear if you’re still having problems signing in to Pigment. To help you access your Pigment Workspace quickly, we’ve compiled solutions for any sign-in problems you might have.  

Error message: Unable to sign in

Try the following solutions:  

  • Ensure you’re using the email address and password. Yes, this obvious, but it still happens. 
  • Have you changed your sign in method? If you used to connect with Google SSO or any other SSO method, please try again using this method. Also, ensure you can connect to a different service or software attached with an SSO configuration. 
  • Try to reset your password. Click Need help signing in?, and then click Forgot password? 

 

Error message: We found some errors. Please review the form and make corrections

In this situation, you need to check if your machine is allowed to access Pigment web sites.

The following sites need to be authorized as secure domains: 

  • login.pigment.app
  • changelog.pigment.app
  • support.pigment.com
  • community.pigment.com
  • academy.pigment.com

 

Sign in screen is non-responsive

You clicked Sign In, the loading wheel turns, but nothing happens. What do you do next? 

Try the following solutions:  

  • Check your internet connection. Refresh your screen, and try again. But if you’re reading this, this probably isn’t the problem.
  • Check the clock settings on your machine. Have you recently moved from one region to another? Maybe your computer is new? Your computer’s clock settings need to match the internet-based time service.
