5. Core Reporting : Topline Plan Import & Nexus

Hello Pigment Community 
1. Im Currently stuck at this level of the Pigment Pro Training , Can anyone please explain to me the logic of converting from Local to Group Currency ? 
Thats what i've tried ; 'Topline_Plan_Import LC'[SELECT:Conversion."Group"][BY:'G2 Country'.Currency]*'DH_FX Rates'
 

2. And i did not understand what is demanded in the step below , of creating a nexus , anyone can explain to me what is demanded ? Thank you in advance.

To convert from Local Currency to Group Currency, you first need to associate each country with its corresponding local currency. This effectively adds a currency dimension to the data ([BY: →  ‘G2 Country’.Currency])

Once the currency dimension is in place, you can apply the appropriate FX rates by multiplying the local amounts by the relevant exchange rates (*'DH_FX Rates')

After the conversion is completed, the currency dimension can be removed, leaving the values expressed consistently in Group Currency ([REMOVE: Currency])

Just adding onto Youssef’s answer, about the “nexus” step: it’s usually asking you to build a small bridge/mapping so Country-level values can correctly pick Currency-level FX rates (or align two dimensions that don’t match). It’s essentially the object that connects “Country” to “Currency” so the FX lookup works consistently. The list of metrics are what is needed for you to build the Nexus and Currency conversion metrics.
