How to Delete Test Applications

Hi everyone,

I duplicated Applications in order to test some new Pigment functionnalities without impacting Live Applications.

There are 3 apps which are linked together (Shared metrics)

Tests are over ; I’d like to delete those Apps, but Pigment show this message :
“Cannot delete application: some of the shared objects are still referenced by other applications.”

We have around 200 Shared Blocks !

Must we delete each Shared Block before Pigment allow us to delete the whole App ?

Thanks for your support !

Regards

Matthieu

Hey Matthieu,

To delete applications directly from the UI, you’ll first need to remove any Shared Blocks associated with them. That said, our Product Support team can assist by deleting an entire group of connected applications for you, which is often the easier route.

Just a note: this is only possible when removing the full group, not a subset of applications within it.

If you could raise a support ticket through the portal, we’ll be happy to take it from there!

Thank you!

Thank you for your answer ! I discovered I could select Shared Blocks only and delete all in once.

I was afraid I must pick blocks one by one…

Job is (easily) done !

Matthieu
