There is a workspace with 5 apps , all of the 5 apps are managed by T&D.

Ques: For a dimension list namely “customers” in App A1.1 , can anyone please let me know why the “Disconnect Items” button is disabled?
Requirement: In App 1.1:  I need to mark some of the lists as disconnected and some as connected

For future reference: the problem in this case was that Applications remained “managed” in Dev which shouldn’t be the case since managed=locked and Dev Applications shouldn’t be locked.

All sorted now.

Hello @Chahat, thanks for your question. In which environment are you trying to “disconnect” items on the list?

Disconnecting requires doing it in DEV and then push the setting update to PROD through a deployment (to ensure the disconnected status is compatible with the rest of the model before applying to PROD).

I was trying to update it in “Dev” environment.
It is now resolved by raising the ticket , i.e. “option to mark a list as disconnected in dev environment” is enabled from backend by support team

Thank you, @Julien . Yes,  I agree.

  • Earlier: The applications were showing as “Managed” in Dev environment also (which was incorrect).
  • Now: It’s resolved because apps in dev environment are NOT showing as “Managed”/ “Locked”.
( because dev environment cant be managed, it’s where all the development occurs.)
