Hi All,
I am trying to create a R&D cost Capitalization schedule and need some help. Essentially which I am trying to do is spread the cost over 3 years but then add the incremental monthly amount as well. For example: If Jan 2024, my R&D cost is $1200 and $2400 for Feb, then I should see $100 (1200 / 12) for Jan 2024 till Dec 2024 and for Feb cost, it should be $300 ($2400/12 + 100).
