Is in the roadmap the possibility to create data import configurations automatically (https://kb.pigment.com/docs/connect-google-bigquery#load-bigquery-data-into-pigment), for example through an API or by syncing with a file in a repository? At the moment these are set up manually, and we would like to understand what automation options exist to govern what is accessible and configurable in Pigment.

Great question! BigQuery import configurations must currently be created in the Pigment interface. There is no public API to create them or synchronize them.
Once a configuration is saved, you can:
For governance, BigQuery connections can be restricted to selected applications. API keys inherit their creator’s permissions and data visibility, so we recommend a dedicated service account where appropriate.
