Should there be a “Unique” column in the below grid? If so, how do make sure that it appears at the mapping stage?:
Say I have a dimension list (“Country” for example) included in a grid (within a board) -If I hide an item, how do I unhide it If I hide an item, is there an undo function to take me back to the unhidden view?

I have a budget & forecast vs actuals table as shown below. Actual, Current Budget, and Current Forecast are Version Type dimensions that are associated with the Version dimension as properties. The 5 columns within the red box are calculated items. I applied conditional formatting to the variance calculated items. However, when the month changes, the formatting goes away as shown below: The intent for the above views is to associate the month dimension with an application variable of “Last Closed Actuals Month” - dynamically updating to show stakeholders their monthly and YTD variances. Is there any way to apply the conditional formatting across the entire calculated item? Or a different approach to BvA views entirely? The approach shown above contains 6 conditional formatting rules (3 columns x2 rules each), so doing this for every month doesn’t seem viable. Thanks!
I am trying to get a formula to work showing each persons quota by quota code based on tenure. I have created a Years dimensions that outlines year 1 = $1 year 2 = $2 ect ect with the quota value being a property in that dimension. I have then created a metric outlining each quota code by month and then plugged in the year dimension to help map how many months of what quota are needed. All I need is to to get the below to show the number value for that year dimension listed. What is the last piece I am missing to get this to work ? I keep getting errors. Thank you for your help!!
I am trying to create something in Pigment similar to the simple excel model shown below. The key piece I cannot currently achieve is making the Churn amount be calculated as: Beginning ARR * a percentage driver.Same as above with formulas shown. Formula works as it is cell specificWhen trying to do the equivalent in Pigment, I get a circular error.Dec 21 Ending ARR is hardcoded here for the sake of the exampleFor the sake of the example, I’m assuming Jan is actuals and Feb is forecast. For reference, my Pigment formulas are as follows:Beginning ARR: 'Ending ARR'[select: Month-1]. I have also gotten the same result with PREVIOUS(Month)+Bookings[select: Month-1]+Churn[select: Month-1] Bookings: no formulas - direct entry Churn: attempted formula was Beginning ARR * Churn_Percent, but resulted in circular error Ending ARR: previous(Month)+Bookings+Churn Churn_Percent: Churn/'Beginning ARR'. I allowed overrides on this metric to be used as a driver in forecast monthsIs there any work
HiI need to create a formula that as multiple conditions like in the screenshot. My formule doesn’t work, can you help ?Thanks,
Can you copy formatting from one metric to another in a table?
Hi 👋🏼I’m planning on using your API to ingest Pigment data in our datalake, DB Snowflake. I got a two folded question:What are your current API limit rates? (number of lines returned, number of calls, ...) Do you plan to offer Json or XML as an output format for their API? Right now, only CSV is returned. Thanks, Martin
Dears, I am trying to get the first Month we have data of a customer to group it by cohort, and I want to add that date as a property of customer.I was able to get that data using the following formula:'Requests MRR BE'.Date[BY FIRST: 'Requests MRR BE'.'Company or Partner Id' ] The problem is that it only works as long as I have sort the date ascending in the transaction list, and I would like to retrieve that data without having to sort my transaction list. Is there a way I can integrate MINOF in a modifier so that instead of the first value it finds it takes the smallest? Thank you very much in advance, Jose

Hello! Is there a way to convert a Dimension property into Text? I’ve done several times this the other way around using the ITEM function, but can’t find a way to make Dimension → TextThanks!
Dears, I tried to use the formula IN and it seems to not be available anymoreIN function | Community (gopigment.com) I just want to add a boolean formula in a trasancation to get back true when I have a dimension in another column = “ XXX” Thank you very much in advance BR ,Jose
Dears, I have the following formula: With the following metrics: and the following structure :The main di,mension client has mapped a segment as a property and I want to do the calculations by that property (Segment). My two metrics are also in terms of the property; and I want to calculate the the value that I have in MRR BE by Customer for each month divided by the Total Users by each month. If I go to drill down, I have the following information: Le calcule de MRR BE by Customer and Type is correct as well as the Total Users, but the Final calculation it seems to sum everything again instead of just dividing the two calculations. Thank you very much in advance for your guidance,BRJose
Hello,We have an issue with data modeling and security for one of our boards in our people application. This board concerns new positions belonging to one team, company, department and recruiting manager. All of our metrics are dimensioned by Company x Departement x Teams as when we created the metrics, there was only one manager for each combination. However, the org has changed and there can now be several recruiting managers in one team with no hierarchy relationship. Due to confidentiality reasons a manager cannot see open position details of other managers' even if they belong to the same team.None of our metrics are dimensioned by employee. So how can we add security based on managers without changing all of our metrics and adding the employee dimension (we have done manual inputs on the metrics so it would erase everything)? (We have already logged in a ticket but if someone has an idea in the meantime it would be very helpful :) )Thanks!@ClementineEv
Can Pigment do 100 years at an annual level for a time range?I tried the calendar in settings but it didn't apply.
How can I add a secondary axis to my chart?
Hi, I have set up my calendar but it is in USA Format (MM/DD/AAAA). How can I change the format to the brazilian type (DD/MM/AAAA)?
Hi community,HR team asked us an interesting modelling questionThey want to know the employee average age within the company. As TODAY() function doesn’t exist yet in Pigment, the only option I found so far is to :1/ Create a metric with today’s day that will need to be updated when required2/ Allocate a date of birth to each employee in a transaction list or similarQuestion : How to write the right formula to get an age (like 36 for 36 yo) result per employee per month taking in consideration the employee base changes over the years, and then be able to determine an average ?Thank you for your help,Erwan
Been having an issue where when in Grid view for my most recent month some of my data is falling under a Blank category for 2 dimensions even though none of the underlying data has Blank values. When drilling down to the transaction there are no blanks and the data is correct in the grid view. I’ve cleared my cache and realaunched chrome but still have the issue persist even after reloading the original transaction list. Please see images below
When I upload info in a table, and the upload is giving me e.g. 2 new items in that table, do I have a detail of those 2 new items anywhere? To know exactly what I have as new.I know when I upload and some items are not being populated for any reason, I can see in the “i” of information button the specific cases, but with the “new items” I don’t see that button with the specific items which are being added. If there exists an option to see, could you please tell me?If not, could we have it?
Hi, I plan for benefits at an annual level using a metric called “Benefits as % of salary” with dimensions year, subsidiary, and version. As an example, for FY22 I have manually entered 5% as my assumption. What is the best way to then convert the annual assumption 5% to a monthly metric? As in I want to show the actual benefits as % of Salary by month and then show 5% going forward when the version switches to forecast. My annual forecast may also change by year, so I cannot use [remove lastnonblank: year]
hello :) I want to apply a filter on a metric, it tells me that it can be converted to dimension and i do not undertand why. This is the initial metric: And i want to apply this filter: [FILTER:'Job Id'.Contrat = Contract.'Included in People Costs']→ in order to compute costs only for contracts that are included in people costs
I’m having issues drilling down by transaction with metrics I’ve created in my P&L. For context, I’ve used the “Break down by” functionality, and then am able to see lower level metrics. From there, I’m not able to further drill down by transaction.
