Im Currently stuck at this level of the Pigment Pro Training , Can anyone please explain to me the logic of converting from Local to Group Currency ? Thats what i've tried ; 'Topline_Plan_Import LC'[SELECT:Conversion."Group"][BY:'G2 Country'.Currency]*'DH_FX Rates' 2. And i did not understand what is demanded in the step below , of creating a nexus , anyone can explain to me what is demanded ? Thank you in advance.   

Hi,Is there a way to query Snapshot Metadata via API? As I understand every snapshot of an application is a separate application, but when I retrieve Metadata using this post by ​@DamianAtPigment I only get live applications. In API docs I don’t see that I can configure Snapshot or Live, but maybe I’m missing something.Why you might ask? I would like to automatically extract data from the same metric via API, but from different snapshots to show and monitor historic changes. I know that I will have to use text comparison to extract the metric by name, but that’s ok.Thanks!

Hello All, I’m currently trying to build a budget for the next year and running into issues on how to lock data down.Example: Set up a budget for FY26Current Date: 12/19/25Current Month = Dec 2025Latest Actual Month (Switchover Month) = Nov 2025OpEx Planning: I will set the switchover month as Nov 2025, so the data is locked down already.Headcount Planning: Our headcount roster is being loaded on a daily basis and overwritten until the last day of each month so our most up to date data is 12/19/25.Let’s say I want to say today is the day I want my budget to be set and won’t change after 12/19/25. I can create a scenario based on my current scenario which locks down the data for OpEx but my headcount data will essentially be still moving because by tomorrow, it would be using a new transaction list on 12/20/25.I’ve thought of few proposals to resolve this issue but each has its own flaws so I would l

For the purpose of versioning, we are using a combination of methods for different use cases. This would include scenarios (incl snapshots), publishing and cloning. We have instances where we may need to edit a formula in LIVE but leave the locked forecast as is. In order to do we, we enable “add formulas for scenarios”. I noticed that formulas are editable even in locked scenarios. How can I make sure that if a scenario is locked, NO ONE, including admins, can edit it? Leaving this edit option open for locked scenarios can have unintended changes.

Hi all, Before Pigment, when we used to run on our planning on spreadsheets, if an investor wanted to see how our model worked, we could make a version of ur planning model spreadsheet, which we could share with them and they could then get one of their analysts to dig down into the spreadsheet modelling to see how it worked for themselves... … but, having fully migrated from spreadsheet modelling to Pigment, what do we do now,?Assuming the investor has no prior knowledge of how Pigment works, we can’t just give them access and tell them to take a look for themselves, like we used to do with spreadsheets. So, I am interested to know, what do people do in this situation? What do you give them to look at to demonstrate the model works? Or is it that they can no longer look for themselves and must rely on guided tours/demo from us, instead?

Hi everybody,To my great surprise I saw that the powerpoint connector is now available. Christmas came early this year. I immediately tried it and already noticed a few things. But I was curious about the experiences of other users. For example - with grids, I noticed that the export of the grid sometimes moves beyond the border of the visual in powerpoint. And since it's a static picture there is no way to retrieve the rows or columns that fall under of after the border of the powerpoint visual. Another thing that I noticed deals with the width of the columns. For example, I have a certain grid that has columns in a certain width so that all the text fits. The export to powerpoint however squeezes the width of the column so you can't read all the text.Has anybody experienced the same or knows a workaround solution to these types of issues?Thanks, Bas 

Hi everyone,I duplicated Applications in order to test some new Pigment functionnalities without impacting Live Applications.There are 3 apps which are linked together (Shared metrics) Tests are over ; I’d like to delete those Apps, but Pigment show this message :“Cannot delete application: some of the shared objects are still referenced by other applications.”We have around 200 Shared Blocks !Must we delete each Shared Block before Pigment allow us to delete the whole App ? Thanks for your support !RegardsMatthieu  

Some of our users do a lot of scratch work in Sheet View. Is there a way to clear all those extra edits out and start from a clean slate?

Conditional input depending on the versionWhen I enable data input in the metric settings (by checking “Allow overriding formula result with an input”), the input becomes available for all cells.However, I would like to enable input only for specific periods depending on the selected version.For example, for the Forecast Q2 version, the cells should be editable only from Q2, while Q1 should remain read-only because it contains actuals.Is there a way to restrict input to specific periods depending on the version? 2. The first time I pulled data from Pigment into Excel, everything worked correctly and the data loaded. However, when I tried to pull the same dataset again using the same filters, I received an error saying: “The view is too big to be displayed.”How can I resolve this issue? 

Hi - do model snapshots factor in Access Rights? In other words, if a user takes a snapshot but does not have full access, will the snapshot only include the data they have access to or will it still snapshot the entire model?

I accidentally deleted a snapshot, is there a way to restore it ?Thanks
