Hello, I’m trying to import a csv file (Employee referential) into a Dimension List (Employee Referential List). The target Employee List has 5 properties : ID (“generate unique ID” setting toggled), Name, Country, Cost Centre & Salary band. I’ve set the ID property with the “generate unique ID” parameter (+Integer format), because the CSV file has 2 employees with the exact same name (but not the same country).I get an error message preventing me to run this process (in the “map data” step): “The unique Property “ID” has to be mapped”. (the source is grayed since it’s an automatic property.) Is there a problem somewhere? Pigment doesn’t allow a direct import to a dimension list having an “auto-generated ID” property? (Sorry if this was mentionned in one of the academy paths, but didn’t find this precise information. I just found that it is possible with a transaction list, but a dimension list should be more appropriate since we are talking about a referential update).

I am trying to build a metric to forecast interest income on corporate cash. To do so, I’d like to reference our forecasted cash balance from the balance sheet & cash flow statement. This becomes circular since our interest income rolls into net income which then drives our indirect cash flow statement. I believe I could accomplish it by using the previousbase() function but the various metrics are all across different applications. The interest income & revenue metrics sits in a revenue application that feeds into a nexus in the data hub which then feeds the cash flow statement in a financial reporting application. Does anyone know a way to create this metric given the above criteria?

Specifically, I would like to know if it’s possible to send email notifications directly to a group created within Pigment.This need arises from a requirement to send notifications to a mailing list. How can I create a test user and assign the boards’ permissions and rights for a standard member and can test if only the right KPIs are accessible for that test user?

Hello Pigment Community,I am not finding a way on how to add a button to enter additional rows in the metric. For example in the screen shot given below:  I want to add a button which will choose Topline in the row header but it will allow the user to enter new values in the newly added row in the completion and Employee levels in the incentive metric.I am attaching another screen shot to properly understand what I want. Please kindly let me know how can I achieve it. My objective is to add a "Submit" button to this board, enabling users to:Save all entered data into a structured list. Export the stored data as a .csv file for further analysis or record-keeping.   Could you kindly guide me on how to implement this functionality in Pigment? Specifically, I’d appreciate any tips or best practices for:Linking the "Submit" button to capture and store user input. Hello Pigment Community,I want to create three buttons :Absolute Value Percentage  Fixed ValueNow, for absolute value button only numerical values can be entered in the metric. For, percentage value button only percentage inputs will be considered and for a fixed value a single value will be entered in each cell of the Topline Metric.(Image attached below)It can be a button or a boolean tick as well.  

Follow the steps if you want to highlight your totals:Select the header cell of the row which you want to highlight/color code Click on “arrow” icon dropdown and “Format” Choose “Cells” tab in the mini dialog box and select “Every Instance of my Selection” in the “Apply To” field Choose the color and Border ; select Apply and now all the totals at each hierarchy are highlighted!

Is there an option to wrap the text of legends in a chart so that it doesn’t get trimmed like the example below?Should be reading “Actuals & Forecast”.  

Ideally in the metrics we could remove 0 metric values if it is ok with the analysis to remove those cells[FILTER: Currentvalue<>0]Also usually we add the “Hide empty rows and columns” - but is there possible to remove those empty cells by formula? Or does it give something regarding performance wise?

HiDoes enabling AI for all boards slow down the performance?There is an option to enable all blocks for AI at a click of a button but when it comes to switching it off, you need to do it one by one, is there an option to switch off AI for for all blocks in one go?

Hello, I am trying to perform a vlookup function where I would like to retrieve a value from a transaction list  and return to a dimension with same number format.  I want to extract the “Weeknum” from Transaction : Calendar Weeks based on unique property Calendar.Date and populate it in under the Week Dimension’s property “Weeknum” based on its unique property Start DateTried ITEM function but i get a lot of data type errors using this formula ,                                            ITEM('Calendar Weeks'.Weeknum,Week.'Start Date')  thanks 

Hi Pigment team, I’m trying to add empty rows into my Table block, so that I can separate some categories of expenses from each other: I tried to create and add empty “Placeholder” Metric, however it requires a name and I can’t simply leave it empty. Is there another way to add such empty rows between items? Best,Dastan 

I have a single that needs to essentially aggregate a rolling sum (of that last n months) of another metric. The manual method I have found is:TargetMetric + TargetMetric[SELECT: Month -1] + TargetMetric[SELECT: Month -2](I am incuding the current month in the “last” three months calculation)But if I want to change this to the last 5 months or the last 24 months, I would need to add an n number of selects.How Can I formulaically drive this calculation?

Dear Community,we are currently within our FY24 budgeting process. We have the standard setup with Headcount-App, OpEx-App & Topline App.Topline-App & HC-App are connected with source systems with daily uploads to have a proper reporting in place. OpEx-App is manual input only.  To avoid that managers have to incorporate changes (Forecast & Budget 24) in two Versions we use our Forecast Version only. For Budget Versioning we copy a Forecast Version as Budget Version 2024 VX.We face the challenge, that the imported data will change our Budget Versions VX as well. A first idea was to take snapshots of the application and connect the Version of a snapshot into the Core-Reporting, but not sure if this is possible? Or does anyone have any other idea how to lock the data without stopping the imports? BR,Daniel

Hi,We have a data table on Pigment that we update daily with new data by uploading a CSV file.The CSV contains data from January 1, 2021, and every day the new daily data is added to the file before being uploaded to Pigment.I wanted to know if CSV uploads delete the old data and then completely update everything, or if they only push the new data.For example: If tomorrow the file no longer contains data starting from January 1, 2021, but instead starts from January 1, 2022, will we still retain the 2021 data in our source list in Pigment when I upload this new file, or will it be deleted?If the historical data is deleted, is there a way to push the new data every day without deleting the old one?Thanks in advance!
