Hi Community!I've faced with the wierd problem while importing data from CSV to Transaction List.In CSV file the text field value is "Central LATAM” - the second part in uppercase, but when importing I've found this field in Pigment Transaction list as “Central Latam” - with only first letter uppercase.What could be the reason and how to avoid it during import? Many thanks!Yuri

Hi, I would like to consult what is the best formula to Cumulate a metric where I need to add a start date. To give more context, this is the current formula I have:CUMULATE('Metric1', month dimension) [SELECT: month dimension-3]I need to deduct 3mos as well thus there is -3 in the formulaThe start date of my cumulate should be from January 1, 2023  Thank you! 

Hello Pigment Community,Do we have dynamic cell access feature in Pigment?For example: I want users to just edit the Vintages and not the vintages that are already filled. (Context: This is a calculated field, but I have allowed data input override of the metric)How can I just edit the Vintages and add values to the Vintages that are not filled and the ones that are filled or already calculated be non editable? Please kindly help.Thanks!

Hi Team,While implementing Workforce planning for Pigment PRO Training, there’s a requirement where we are suppose to write formulas for Annual Benefits, Annual Bonus etc. While implementing this, I have noticed that - I am getting some warning which says “You do not have access to any of this metric data” as I am trying to fetch metric from another application. Please note that, I have made sure that - Shared Block is activated for my dimensions, metrics in Data Hub Application. Can you please let me know what could have been wrong in this case? 

currently the user needs to expand the filter selection and select the specific filter criteria. Was wondering if there is any action buttons similar to “SLICERS” in Excel ?

I am trying to select N number of months back fin a given metric based on an in Input Metric. The Target Metric is dimension by Type in the rows and Month in the Column. The Input metric is dimensioned by Type and I have assigned a differing number of months to each type. The Calculation Metric in which I am placing the Formula should offset and select the value N Number of Months back based on the Input Metrics Months.Here is an example formula:Formula Metric:‘TargetMetric’[SELECT: Month - InputMetric] but this throws an error about the month dimension.How can I select a certain value from the target metric N number of months back based on an Input Metric?

Great to see this new functionality!  2 questions:Is there a way to preserve formatting in Excel (i.e., to refresh data in a report) I cannot see an option to “push” data, only to pull.  What am I missing?Thanks!

Hello Pigment Community,I hope you're all doing well!I have a 4-level hierarchy for dimensions, ranging from L4 to L1 (screenshot attached). Currently, I’m displaying the L2 level (e.g., Vintage I, Vintage II, etc.), as shown in the attached screenshot. What I’d like to achieve is to create a button that filters the view based on the parent dimension (Fund 1, Fund 2, etc.). For example:If "Fund 1" is selected, the view should only display the L2 items (e.g., Vintage I, Vintage II) associated with Fund 1. Similarly, selecting "Fund 2" would filter the view to display only the L2 items linked to Fund 2.I understand we can us

Metric ABC is a formulated metric,Initial value is 100 and due to some downstream data updation, newer value is 150.Is there any formula/function to check the 100? 

 I am now in the process of creating an integration user for all the import set ups so the ownership is not tied to a specific person. But in process of doing that I was wondering if there is a way to switch between those accounts while working in the system? Or will I need to always log out and log in with the new user? 

Hello, I’m trying to import a csv file (Employee referential) into a Dimension List (Employee Referential List). The target Employee List has 5 properties : ID (“generate unique ID” setting toggled), Name, Country, Cost Centre & Salary band. I’ve set the ID property with the “generate unique ID” parameter (+Integer format), because the CSV file has 2 employees with the exact same name (but not the same country).I get an error message preventing me to run this process (in the “map data” step): “The unique Property “ID” has to be mapped”. (the source is grayed since it’s an automatic property.) Is there a problem somewhere? Pigment doesn’t allow a direct import to a dimension list having an “auto-generated ID” property? (Sorry if this was mentionned in one of the academy paths, but didn’t find this precise information. I just found that it is possible with a transaction list, but a dimension list should be more appropriate since we are talking about a referential update).

I am trying to build a metric to forecast interest income on corporate cash. To do so, I’d like to reference our forecasted cash balance from the balance sheet & cash flow statement. This becomes circular since our interest income rolls into net income which then drives our indirect cash flow statement. I believe I could accomplish it by using the previousbase() function but the various metrics are all across different applications. The interest income & revenue metrics sits in a revenue application that feeds into a nexus in the data hub which then feeds the cash flow statement in a financial reporting application. Does anyone know a way to create this metric given the above criteria?

Specifically, I would like to know if it’s possible to send email notifications directly to a group created within Pigment.This need arises from a requirement to send notifications to a mailing list. How can I create a test user and assign the boards’ permissions and rights for a standard member and can test if only the right KPIs are accessible for that test user?

Hello Pigment Community,I am not finding a way on how to add a button to enter additional rows in the metric. For example in the screen shot given below:  I want to add a button which will choose Topline in the row header but it will allow the user to enter new values in the newly added row in the completion and Employee levels in the incentive metric.I am attaching another screen shot to properly understand what I want. Please kindly let me know how can I achieve it. Hello Pigment Community,I’m currently working on creating an incentive scheme that allows users to input and customize data as needed directly within a board. My objective is to add a "Submit" button to this board, enabling users to:Save all entered data into a structured list. Export the stored data as a .csv file for further analysis or record-keeping.   Could you kindly guide me on how to implement this functionality in Pigment? Specifically, I’d appreciate any tips or best practices for:Linking the "Submit" button to capture and store user input. Hello Pigment Community,I want to create three buttons :Absolute Value Percentage  Fixed ValueNow, for absolute value button only numerical values can be entered in the metric. For, percentage value button only percentage inputs will be considered and for a fixed value a single value will be entered in each cell of the Topline Metric.(Image attached below)It can be a button or a boolean tick as well.  

Follow the steps if you want to highlight your totals:Select the header cell of the row which you want to highlight/color code Click on “arrow” icon dropdown and “Format” Choose “Cells” tab in the mini dialog box and select “Every Instance of my Selection” in the “Apply To” field Choose the color and Border ; select Apply and now all the totals at each hierarchy are highlighted!
