Hello Everyone, I am new to Pigment and started with training recently. I came across a scenario where I had to delete a few items from the transaction list and realized the only option we have is manually selecting them and delete. Is there any way/action that we can create pointing to a Boolean metric which holds TRUE for delete items (with a formula) and whenever we run that action, it will delete those specific items (We can think of deleting a specific months data)Please suggest.Thanks,Ramana

Hi Pigment Community,I’m working on building a forecasting model and have encountered a challenge that I could use some help with.The core of my model is based on using the "Month of Year" dimension to allow users to input information. However, I now need to incorporate the "Month" dimension for a specific year, which I want to select using a switchover date.The issue arises when I create a new metric and add the "Month" dimension. After filtering for my designated year, the metric aggregates the total values across all columns, leading to an incorrect result. Essentially, the metric isn't giving me the precise data I need.You might wonder why I didn’t implement the "Month" dimension from the start. My goal was to minimize the work required to maintain and update the model as we transition into a new year. Hi, I have a metric with 3 dimensions: Quarter, Products & Employee. I also have a transaction list with the following infoSale XYZ  - in Q1 24  (dimension Quarter) - Productclass A - sold by John (dimension employee) - previous product seller is Anna (dimension employee)Sale FMG - in Q1 24 - Productclass A - sold by Maria - previous product seller is John In my metric with dimension quarter, product, employee I am calling in all product sales, but I assign them to the previous product owner so something like [by: -> sale.product.previousseller]. However, in this way all sales get assigned to the last previous seller, whereas I want to assign the sale from John → Ann and the sale from Maria → John because they were at that point in time the previous seller.  How can I do this?  Thank you very much in advance  

Hi I would like to merge all the items from 2 dimensions of 2 distinct applications in PIGMENT into a new dimension. Is this possible, and if so, how?To give a bit of context, I have an existing application that tracks ongoing projects and those planned for the next two years (updated via an import), and I would like to create a dedicated application allowing users to submit their project requests for the next 2 to 6 years.These requests will be subject to prioritization, and not all will be carried out. Therefore, I would like to distinguish between confirmed projects and future project requests by creating 2 distinct dimensions. Hi folks,I have a metric: “Start Week” of the datatype: “custom Weeks List” and using dimension “Project”. So, it has Start Week for every project. Hi, I was trying to use Calculations and faces maximum cardinality issue. I have metrics for BoP, EoP and 2 metrics I need to add. So, the logic would be EoP = BoP + Metric 1 + Metric 2Each of them has 6 dimension, and unfortunately I can’t get rid of any dimensions.We used the logic of where BoP = EoP {select month -1] and EoP is calculated as previous month + Metric 1 + Metric 2 but we faced formula timeout recently.Maybe anyone has any ideas how it can be solved?

I’m currently having a formatting/metric structure issue and was wondering if anyone had a solution to my problem. The current challenge I’m facing is that when I create a table using 2 existing metrics and 1 input metric, the format of my table follows the input metric, when I would like it to follow the format of the existing metrics. To further explain I have a list of managers and territories. Hi Pigment community,I want to manage the edit rights in a Board, so that users only can edit/add data for Forecast data and should not edit/override the Actuals data. I created a Period Type metric:   I added the Period Type to the Year metric:   I created a custom Access Rights Metric named “Forecast Rule” for the Period Type and Year metric. I updated the access to Actual on Read / No Write and to Forecast Read / Write for all users:

Hi,I believe the visual hint feature for metrics is a great feature for the end users. However, I have observed it doesn’t work as suggested for the metric that is calculated and overriding with an input value is allowed. Example: I have a metric ‘Annual Bonus’, and under the Metric’s ‘Data Input’ settings enabled the ‘Allow overriding formula results with an input’ option.Data Input setting updated to ‘Allow overriding’ But, if you see it in the Board, it will show only as a Calculated metric i.e. grey vertical column at the right side of the cell, and not as the ‘Calculation with Input allowed’ i.e. with both pale yellow background as well as the grey vertical bar at right side of the cell, to indicate that it is both calculated and input/override is allowed. Without

Hi all - I’m looking to calculate the maximum value of the last 3 months but seem to be getting incorrect values with my current formula. Adding screenshots below. Tried “MAX(Value, Value[select: Month - 1], Value[select: Month - 2])” but it seems to be causing a mismatch in dimensionality somehow.
