Hello Pigment Community,I just want one option to be marked, if suppose Absolute is checked, then the other options (Percentage and fixed) cannot be checked. How can I do this?  Please kindly guide me to perform this operation. Thanks a lot!

I have a Calendar folder in [01] Data Hub app. As I create additional related apps should I create a new Calendar in each? I know I can open the Data Hub dimension to be shared  Can I dimension-chain my way back to the Data Hub time dimension’s properties? I use the Data hub Time period lists in the structure (dimension format) of Metrics in the related apps, can I reach data hub propts in formulas?

Hello,I have a question. Hope you guys can help me out. I have a metric dimensioned on week, business unit and version. This is calculated from a TL that is being continually and automatically updated from the source system. However, I would like to ‘freeze’ this data for specific versions. For instance, at this moment in time I would like to freeze the metric for the budget 2026. Later on (in a couple of months) I want to freeze the data for the first forecast of 2026 (but leaving the data for budget 2026 untouched of course). I was thinking along the lines of using a M2M import, but I can't seem to work out a scalable solution on how to import only item A and not item B of the same dimension. Maybe using data access rights? Thanks for your help.Best, Bas

 I am trying to recreate a table like this in Pigment where the scenario would be Actuals and Var $ and Var % are calculated items and $ per head is ‘Total $’ in ‘Show Values as % of’ format. In Pigment, the red cells end up calculating as a % of as well instead of a variance. Does anyone know of a work around for this? If I make an independent $ per head metric the total $ per head line will be inaccurate. Thank you!

Hello,I have a transaction list per customer_id with information regarding sales_team. However some clients are not properly mapped and do not have any data inside the “sales_team” column.When i retrieve the data from this transaction list via [BY : sales_team] i lose all clients that are missing the info.How could i include in my formula a way to have all customers not mapped under “blank” sales team ? I could add a formula directly into my transaction list but as i do have 6M lines i’m afraid it’ll trigger performance issue. Thanks in advance

Hi!Can someone please help me to find the vendor names from the description of a transaction from a list of vendor list that I already have?Right now, with the help of ITEM function its able to only recognize if the description has only the full vendor name from the list. But I want to populate vendor names by finding the vendor names in the description among other extra texts as well.For example,if my Description is “Amazon.com” ITEM function is able to recognize the vendor name and populate Amazon.com from the list that I have as a dimension. if the description is “Orders from Amazon.com”, its not able to find “Amazon.com” among the other texts in the description.So I’m looking for a way to find these vendor names from the description which has other text apart from the vendor name and populate it.Thank you!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well ! I have a question regarding displaying properties in Pigment. In my model, every dimension has both a Name and a Display Name property. When I place a dimension on a row or a column, I can choose to show either the code (name) or the Display Name by using the “Update header labels” feature, which works perfectly.  However, this feature does not exist when a dimension is used as a Page Filter. As soon as the dimension is placed in Pages, the option to display Display Name disappears.As far as I can see, the only current workaround would be to modify the dimension so the Display Name becomes the Name which

I want a table that has costs actual ytd, costs budgeted ytd, costs ytd variance, costs full year budget, and costs YTG (i.e. total year budget less actuals YTD).However, my budget is captured as a scenario snapshot. Is this possible?

Is Pigment capable of handling two billion records?

Dears, I have been getting this error recently when I perform divisions on Pigment. I understand division by 0 or blank can give NA, that is why I use an IF in the formula to make sure we do not computate those values. Thank you very much in advance!Jose

Hi,Can someone please tell me about the best practice for Data Cloning in metrics from one version to another such that even data which is the result of a formula gets cloned when new version is added? This is my find with regards to data cloning:1) In formula driven metrics with manual override on, only manual inputs get cloned. Data resulting from formula does not get cloned.

Hi Team,I’m trying to configure user access in so that certain metric values are hidden for specific users, while the table structure (rows and columns) remains visible.For example, as shown in the screenshot, I want users to see the list of Countries, along with Cost and Gross Margin numbers — but the Revenue values should be completely hidden for them. Essentially, the user should still be able to see the row and column headers, just not the restricted metric data.I tried setting up Data Access Rights based on Roles, but it either hides the entire row or still shows the Revenue numbers.Has anyone implemented this type of partial metric-level masking? What is the best way to achieve this?Thanks in advance! 

Will boolean TRUE persist after formula condition which uses ISDEFINED is met even if the data which meets the True condition is removed?

I need help fixing a mission for a variance analysis agent.  I am attempting to make it as dynamic as possible, so I am using a variable called @CurrentMonth which is a calculated metric that pulls the most current month we have transaction data into all my scenarios.   The calculated value for the @CurrentMonth variable for my @Actuals scenario is “0ct 25”.  I have another scenario called “Working Forecast” that has a calculated value of “May 25”.When I run this AI agent, no matter how I write the instructions, it uses the value of “May 25” which is nowhere in the instructions, not even implicity.The only way this works is if I change the variable for @CurrentMonth to be hard coded as “Oct 25”.What am I doing wrong? Hi everyone, I’m currently working on the TrainingPro and I’m struggling to understand how to add a selector to my Board.My Board only contains a TransactionList, and as far as I know you can’t add a page selector inside a TransactionList that would show up as a selector in the Board. Is there a way to create a standalone selector in the Board, or do I need to add another widget just to generate a page selector? Thanks for your help!

In Pigment, we can display the history of a metric (e.g., a cell change by dimension intersection, inserted value). I’d like to know if there is an API that can return this data

Hi! How would I calculate the average of all instances of X day of month? I have a metric with $X by day, and want to return the average of all 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. of the months. Preferably rolling so if my calendar starts in 2024 then Oct 15th 2025 would return ((Oct 14th’24 + Oct 14th’25) / 2).Thank you!

We are experiencing that if we save a copy of a Google Sheet with Pigment Connector connections, we lose the connections in the copied sheet.  We just want to double-check if there's a way to maintain connections in a copied sheet or is it perhaps on the radar to be supported in the future?  Thank you!

I have a few recommendations for the naming conventions1.) the prefixes should be in lowercase. UPPER case draws your eye to the prefix and that isn’t the key to the metric; it’s a supporting detail. I believe CALC_Gross Margin highlights the calc more than the Gross MarginCALC_Gross Marginvs.calc_Gross Margin 2.) the prefix SET is misleading.If you step away from writing formulas for a while (a few weeks) and then come back, you have to remember SET is a setting and it isn’t an imperative /command. For instance SET_Load Actuals to me sounds like you want to change something. I

I love the concept of the Prettify Formula, but I don’t love the logic it uses. Having spent a bit of my earlier career in software development, I realized a few things that made my code more readable.When doing if logic, I want the comma separating the logic test and true result placed on a new ling and indented to just past the opening “(“. I do this so I can easily trace where logic changes happen.. and it is a little easier to comment things out or copy/paste into the formula playground for testing.if(Month.’Period Type’ = ‘Period Type’.”Actual”   , Data.Amount

Hello everyone,I have created a Clone data in metrics set up on my application settings but when I go to the board to add the action button the Clone data in Metrics form does not appear to let me choose what i want to copy and where..Basically i can only use one preset configuration into the app settings. Am I loosing a step? I also see in the documentation that is clearly possibile but I can’t manage to set it up;Thanks in advance, community, for your help! :)
