Hey,Is there a way in Pigment by which we can do the following in the same grid/table:show “FY 2025 column header” for some metrics and “FY 26 ” columns for some other metrics

Following reading this page about how Pigment handles blank cells with metrics with different dimensions (How Pigment Handles Blank Cells), I have the following questions :What is the best practice to maintain both source metrics values (e.g. treating blanks as zeros from the metric with the most dimensions) ?e.g. if I want metric C to hold for Spain Metric A + Metric B = 5 instead of blank for Product A (in the case of different costs sources with different dimensions structures, total cost should always be A+B, not A+ depending whether A is not empty, add B) ? I make do with a simple Metric A + Metric B[Add : Country] Yet I wonder whether this would be the best opti

Hi community, I found the article Use Selectors to Customize Context in Views and Boards | Community (the last paragraph How Variable and Page selectors work together) and I want to do the same view for my PnL.  The idea is basically the same. I want to see first Actual, Budget and then dynamic FC version depending on page selector. After that I want to see difference between Bud and selected FC version. I didn’t figure it out how to do it.I’ve done the calculated item and linked it to the page selectors, but I can still see all FC versions and I don’t know how to hide them (=switch based on Page s

Hi Everyone,I am looking for a way to visually group and indent independent Metrics on a Pigment Board to create a hierarchy, similar to a traditional P&L view.The Setup: I have four separate Metrics, each calculated using its own formula: Other Operational expenses (The parent/total) Warehouse expenses Transportation cost Other expenses The Goal: I have added these four metrics to a Pivot table. Hi,I’m trying to set up an iterative calculation to use the PREVIOUSOF function to address a circular reference. However, in my application the setup doesn’t appear the same as described in the article “Iterative Calculations Across Multiple Blocks Using PREVIOUSOF.”Instead of showing options for Cycle Name, Iteration Dimension, and Metrics That Can Reference Each Other (as mentioned in the article), it only gives me the option to add an iterative calculation and asks me to select the Base Metric and Allowed Metric. 

I have a learning path within my profile. How can I remove it?

Some of our users do a lot of scratch work in Sheet View. Is there a way to clear all those extra edits out and start from a clean slate?

Hey!I wanted to check if there are any plans to introduce a feature that allows aggregation by formula. Currently, we can aggregate metrics using options like sum or average, but what if we want to display the value calculated by a formula at all levels of the hierarchy? I’ve seen some previous workarounds in the community, such as displaying the metric as a percentage value, but I’m curious if this functionality is expected in the near future.Thanks! :)

Hi teamJust wondering if anyone is facing the same issue. I was able to clone data from version to version (e.g Live Forecast → Forecast Q1) across all scenarios (Default, Optimistic...) but now the clone function only works on Default, and there is no other way to for to select different scenario.I already tried toggling the scenario selection in All Blocks but it isn’t working.ThanksNeo

Can we publish the Predictions function on a board?

Hi,I want to be able properly forecast the growth rate through time. Right now for Software, we select what month we’d like to grow the monthly cost and by what %. I’d like the formula to work as following:If the month is in an actual period, don’t grow the software period until the following year (example: if we had a software planned to grow in January, for 2026 we wouldnt see any growth but in January 2027 we would see the growth rate).Right now we have a super complex formula that really slows down the model:  is there a more simplified way to calculate a growth rate %? Hi All,I know that pigment has a feature to automate notifications using a metric but is there a way to implement something similar for running Imports? Let’s say I checked off a boolean in a metric, is there a way to use that as a trigger for automatic metric to metric import? 

Hi,I have a metric that pulls data from previous version and has metric override on. In current version, is there a way to delete data that came over from previous version without that cell reverting back to formula based result even if I don’t input any value. 

Hello everybody!I'm trying to use a number-metric in which I have ranked all GL accounts as a mapping metric. I would like to allocate planned costs on level 2 to level 1 based on the top ranked L1 within each L2. My ranking metric produces this output. Based on this, I would like to allocate the costs that are planned on a higher level to PB61223. Can you point me in the right direction on how to go about this? I'm getting stuck in converting a number metric to a dimension metric. I have tried something like this but it doesn't work:IFDEFINED(FIL_TopRankedGLs[BY MIN: FIL_TopRankedGLs.’GL Account’] , ‘GL Account’ ) 

Hi everyone,I’m running into a problem with filtering months dynamically based on version in Pigment, and I’m not sure how to handle it. Here’s the situation:Context: I have a table with Version in rows and Month in columns. I created two metrics (both identical, boolean, dimensioned by Month and Version): A filter metric that marks which months are related for each version. Example: New Biz 2025 → Sep-24 to Dec-25 = TRUE New Biz 2026 → Sep-25 to Dec-26 = TRUE A data-entry metric to “open/close” months for each version. This ensures that, when a version is selected, only the relevant months are shown, not all months.

Hello community,I was wondering if there was a way to display more information when you hover over one cell. For instance when i display top 10 clients upsell of one month i display only the name but would like to be able to see other dimensions (region, sales owner, ...) when you’re hovering the name of the client.

I want to set up a variable item that i can use as a default filter on my Boards.I want it to default to the local currency of a selected subsidiary.I have tried creating a mapping metric, dimensioned by Subsidiary and with the data type = currency dimension. I have also tried it as a boolean with subsidiary and currency as dimensions.Neither are available for selection when trying to set up the variable.How can i get this to work?

Hi,Can a notification be triggered even when the Automation has been turned off? I have been receiving emails even though I have the notifications turned off. There are no changes in the model history to point to what triggered it. 

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to create a CAGR % in a table (via calculated items or SVA). At the moment I have a separate metric that calculates a CAGR on a granular P&L level, but once I pull that metric in my table it simply sums or flat-out averages that metric for the higher P&L levels.Does anybody know if there is some smart way to recreate a CAGR SVA or calculated item in a Pigment table?Thanks, Bas

 Hi Everyone,I have a metric based on TRx data (quarter-wise: Q1–Q4) across multiple Accounts, with dimensions including Region and Version (e.g., Forecast FY24).I want to identify the top-performing account within each Region and Version based on the highest TRx value (either quarterly or total for the year).I tried using the RANK function, but I’m only able to rank by grouping on a single dimension. I’m not able to rank dynamically by multiple dimensions together (Region + Version). It seems like the grouping works only for one dimension at a time.What would be the best way to write a formula or configure this in Pigment to dynamically return the top account by both Region and Version?Any guidance on the correct approach

Hello Pigment Community,We have replicated our monthly reporting pack in Pigment, which was previously in Google Sheets. One key function (and final touch) that would make it identical to our files in Google Sheets would be the ability to add comments in the right hand margin for each income statement line of our variance analysis.I’ve reviewed Pigment’s commenting functionality, which works well, but is not suitable for our use in this instance. We’re really set on having the comments visible, and being able to archive them. Here’s our specific requirements:Be able to archive comments by period, version (actuals vs. forecast, actuals vs. budget, etc.), and by income statement line.  For example: Imagine I am reviewing the May 2023 Actuals vs. Budget Income Statement variances. I comment to the right of the Revenue line “Revenue underperformed due to X, Y, Z. If in a year’s time, I filter on the month of May, for the May 2023

Hello, I noticed that there were some adjustments made to view aggregators functionality in widget. Previously it was possible to remove the total from the dimensions in grid an copy it over to every metric, but now this button is unavailable. Are you planning to restore it? Thank you!
