Hi Community Members,I would like to know for knowwledge that there is any limitation to create no list properties and no of rows in Dimension and transaction List of pigment.Means:How many no of properties and rows can we create in Dimension and Transaction List?

Hello,I have 2 Transaction Lists :List 1 : with Doc # (string), Parent Item (Dimension), Product Lvl 2 (Dimension) List 2 : with Doc # (string)None of the Doc # is unique on both Lists.In List 2 I want to retrieve Parent Item following the rule : IF List1.Doc # = List2.Doc # AND Product Lvl 2 = “VPS” Then Parent Item (Dimension)I tried this but doesn’t work and I don’t understand why.  In my screenshot, P&L.Transaction = Doc # from List 2 and Transaction List.Document Numer = Doc # from List 1Thanks for your help ! Alexandre

Hi!I’d like to create a metric to keep track of the number of outstanding customer invoices over time.I have an import from the ERP system with the status of every issued invoice, and the following columns:Customer Number Invoice Date Payment DateThe metric should be of dimension Day, and should return the # of outstanding invoices at any given time.Excel equivalent:1. Generated a sequence of days ( → Day metric in Pigment)2. Use sumproduct formula for the aggregation=SUMPRODUCT((Invoice_Date>=Day)*((Payment_Date>Day))+(Payment_Date=0))What would be the equivalent formula in Pigment for this?

Hello !I have created a table to display our monthly key figures with actuals vs budget. I have added the following columns with the calculated item function: YTD values (with the cumulate option in the calculated item), and variation in € + variation in % for the monthly and YTD values.When my initial data is in number it’s ok, but I don’t know if it’s possible to use the calculated item option for calculating YTD values in % and calculating their variation (for example gross margin % and EBITDA %). Could you please help me to find the best way to calculate these values in my table?Hope my request is clear enough!Thanks,Elodie

Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue for creating metrics that are on a "per basis". They're divisions between 2 sums.Those 2 sums (let's say A and B) are defined across the same 6 dimensions, and individually work fine and aggregate as sums on any visualization with them even if I pick let's say 3/6 dimensions in which they existHowever when I create a metric dividing those metrics A and B, we face issues when displaying on a table 3/6 dimensions, because there's no option to define the order of operations, and what happens is:- The table calculates A / B on each combination of 6 dimensions- Aggregate as sum of (A / B) on the table at displayWhat needs to happen is:- Calculate sum of A- Calculate sum of B- Divide sum of A by sum of BAnd we couldn't find a formula to do this, or make explicitly how we want to aggregate.Those are semi-additive measures, and maybe this example on DAX helps:

Hello,I am trying to create a metric that shows the month tenure by employee in a cohort, with the cohorts in rows and the month cohort dimension in columns (i.e. M+1, M+2, M+3, etc.). For example, an employee who arrived in May 22 is part of the May 22 cohort and if he leaves in September 22 it would put a 1 in the column "M+4" for the row "May 22".I have an “Employee” dimension with a property for the cohort (for example May 22) and a property for the number of months of employment (for example M+4).Could you please help me to build in the best way the described metric?I hope my request is clear enough!Thanks! 😊

Hi! Hoping some of you can share some best practices for mapping a metric’s results (for example, a forecast metric of revenue with dimension Month) to a chart of accounts (for example, account 4000: Revenue). I know I could use lots of IF statements on a metric that has dimensions Month and IS_Accounts, but that seems fragile? I haven’t seen another way to directly associate a metric’s result to a chart of accounts line though. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I’m using a Versions Dimension to allow for Actual + Forecast monthly planning. 1+11, 2+10, 3+9, etc. For metrics with manual inputs, I’m wondering if there’s a way to have the formula statement be:If the prior month is defined, default to that value. Otherwise, default to the prior version. The idea would be that as I change versions, my inputs would carry to the next one. However, if in a later version I change the input for a month, that new input would propagate across all the future months in that version. I tried a few versions of an IF statement using ISDEFINED, etc. but no luck. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if there’s a way to update the Aggregator label. For example, if I add an aggregator AVERAGE, the additional row added still says “Total”. It would be helpful if it would show “Total Average” or just “Average” depending on what aggregator option I’ve selected.

Hey everyone, I have a transaction list of revenue by month by User ID. My User ID dimension has the property “Employer”. My Employer dimension has the property “Parent Company”. I want to create a metric with dimensions Months and Parent Company to sum the revenue from my transaction list. How do I chain the dimension properties in the by sum statement? I need to go from User ID > Employer > Parent Company across multiple dimension lists. Thanks!  

We had removed Scenarios from the Pages in some blocks (because we weren’t utilizing them yet) and now we can’t find an option to add Scenarios back to Page in the Pivot. We can add them as columns/rows, but the Pivot interface doesn’t allow us to move Scenarios to Pages only. How can we get Scenarios back in our blocks as only a Page selector?
