Hello All, I’m currently trying to build a budget for the next year and running into issues on how to lock data down.Example: Set up a budget for FY26Current Date: 12/19/25Current Month = Dec 2025Latest Actual Month (Switchover Month) = Nov 2025OpEx Planning: I will set the switchover month as Nov 2025, so the data is locked down already.Headcount Planning: Our headcount roster is being loaded on a daily basis and overwritten until the last day of each month so our most up to date data is 12/19/25.Let’s say I want to say today is the day I want my budget to be set and won’t change after 12/19/25. I can create a scenario based on my current scenario which locks down the data for OpEx but my headcount data will essentially be still moving because by tomorrow, it would be using a new transaction list on 12/20/25.I’ve thought of few proposals to resolve this issue but each has its own flaws so I would like to know the best practice to lock down the data.Proposal 1: Use Headcount data as of

Hi everyone,I duplicated Applications in order to test some new Pigment functionnalities without impacting Live Applications.There are 3 apps which are linked together (Shared metrics) Tests are over ; I’d like to delete those Apps, but Pigment show this message :“Cannot delete application: some of the shared objects are still referenced by other applications.”We have around 200 Shared Blocks !Must we delete each Shared Block before Pigment allow us to delete the whole App ? Thanks for your support !RegardsMatthieu

Hi everyone, I have two questions regarding input configuration in Pigments. 1. Conditional input depending on the versionWhen I enable data input in the metric settings (by checking “Allow overriding formula result with an input”), the input becomes available for all cells.However, I would like to enable input only for specific periods depending on the selected version.For example, for the Forecast Q2 version, the cells should be editable only from Q2, while Q1 should remain read-only because it contains actuals.Is there a way to restrict input to specific periods depending on the version? 2. Input at an aggregated levelI’ve noticed that when I select data at an aggregated level (for example, “All countries”), input is automatically disabled and the cells become read-only, which is expected. However, from my experience, some clients could request the ability to enter data at the aggregated level.Is there any possibility to enable input at aggregated levels, or is this not supported in

Hi - do model snapshots factor in Access Rights? In other words, if a user takes a snapshot but does not have full access, will the snapshot only include the data they have access to or will it still snapshot the entire model?

I accidentally deleted a snapshot, is there a way to restore it ?Thanks

I have a Calendar folder in [01] Data Hub app. As I create additional related apps should I create a new Calendar in each? I know I can open the Data Hub dimension to be shared  Can I dimension-chain my way back to the Data Hub time dimension’s properties? I use the Data hub Time period lists in the structure (dimension format) of Metrics in the related apps, can I reach data hub propts in formulas?

Hello,I have a question. Hope you guys can help me out. I have a metric dimensioned on week, business unit and version. This is calculated from a TL that is being continually and automatically updated from the source system. However, I would like to ‘freeze’ this data for specific versions. For instance, at this moment in time I would like to freeze the metric for the budget 2026. Later on (in a couple of months) I want to freeze the data for the first forecast of 2026 (but leaving the data for budget 2026 untouched of course). I was thinking along the lines of using a M2M import, but I can't seem to work out a scalable solution on how to import only item A and not item B of the same dimension. Maybe using data access rights? Thanks for your help.Best, Bas

 I am trying to recreate a table like this in Pigment where the scenario would be Actuals and Var $ and Var % are calculated items and $ per head is ‘Total $’ in ‘Show Values as % of’ format. In Pigment, the red cells end up calculating as a % of as well instead of a variance. Does anyone know of a work around for this? If I make an independent $ per head metric the total $ per head line will be inaccurate. Thank you!

Hello,I have a transaction list per customer_id with information regarding sales_team. However some clients are not properly mapped and do not have any data inside the “sales_team” column.When i retrieve the data from this transaction list via [BY : sales_team] i lose all clients that are missing the info.How could i include in my formula a way to have all customers not mapped under “blank” sales team ? I could add a formula directly into my transaction list but as i do have 6M lines i’m afraid it’ll trigger performance issue. Thanks in advance

Hi!Can someone please help me to find the vendor names from the description of a transaction from a list of vendor list that I already have?Right now, with the help of ITEM function its able to only recognize if the description has only the full vendor name from the list. But I want to populate vendor names by finding the vendor names in the description among other extra texts as well.For example,if my Description is “Amazon.com” ITEM function is able to recognize the vendor name and populate Amazon.com from the list that I have as a dimension. if the description is “Orders from Amazon.com”, its not able to find “Amazon.com” among the other texts in the description.So I’m looking for a way to find these vendor names from the description which has other text apart from the vendor name and populate it.Thank you!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well ! I have a question regarding displaying properties in Pigment. In my model, every dimension has both a Name and a Display Name property. When I place a dimension on a row or a column, I can choose to show either the code (name) or the Display Name by using the “Update header labels” feature, which works perfectly.  However, this feature does not exist when a dimension is used as a Page Filter. As soon as the dimension is placed in Pages, the option to display Display Name disappears.As far as I can see, the only current workaround would be to modify the dimension so the Display Name becomes the Name which isn’t ideal. Is there any way to display the Display Name in Page Filters without modifying the dimension? Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards,

Is Pigment capable of handling two billion records?

Dears, I have been getting this error recently when I perform divisions on Pigment. I understand division by 0 or blank can give NA, that is why I use an IF in the formula to make sure we do not computate those values. Thank you very much in advance!Jose

Hi,Can someone please tell me about the best practice for Data Cloning in metrics from one version to another such that even data which is the result of a formula gets cloned when new version is added? This is my find with regards to data cloning:1) In formula driven metrics with manual override on, only manual inputs get cloned. Data resulting from formula does not get cloned.

Hi Team,I’m trying to configure user access in so that certain metric values are hidden for specific users, while the table structure (rows and columns) remains visible.For example, as shown in the screenshot, I want users to see the list of Countries, along with Cost and Gross Margin numbers — but the Revenue values should be completely hidden for them. Essentially, the user should still be able to see the row and column headers, just not the restricted metric data.I tried setting up Data Access Rights based on Roles, but it either hides the entire row or still shows the Revenue numbers.Has anyone implemented this type of partial metric-level masking? What is the best way to achieve this?Thanks in advance!
