Hi all - we are running into an issue with our Google Sheets connector where the order in which scenarios are selected in the saved view does not seem to get passed on to g-sheets. Explaining this in more detail below: We have added a screenshot below showing our list of scenarios. We want “Apr 24 Close / May 24 Reforecast” to be the first scenario and “FY24 Company Plan (Approved Changes)” to be the second scenario -- this is because we want Apr close to be on the left and FY24 company plan to be on the right hand side of our table. When we export this view using the Google Sheets connector, we are required to select the 2 scenarios again and their order seems to be reversed once we pull the data (see second screenshot below).  Any thoughts on whether we’re doing something wrong or if there are any workarounds available for this?

Hello - I am trying to update a formula based on a boolean that is determined by the latest date in a data upload. I believe the following equation is close to what I need.Formula: “if('Is Forecast?','Go Forward Cohort'[select:'Go Forward LTV Driver'."Borrower Retention"][BY:->'Map to Cohort Month'] , if('Is Actual?',('2.002 Cohort View - Borrower Retention Lookup')[remove lastnonblank: Month][remove lastnonblank: Cohort][ADD: Cohort]))”There are two issues:1. I want to add a previous function to the first part of the if statement. If there is no data to pull from the “go forward cohort metric” I want the function to pull the last data point there is2. When updating to the above formula my application will time out. Is there a more efficient formula that will prevent this? Thank you!

Hi, Is it possible to create 3 distinct views on 3 distinct metrics, and combine the metrics into 1 table that incorporates the 3 distinct views? Alternatively, say I have a table constructed from multiple rows that are each a metric. It would contain 3 sections (Revenue, COGS, and OPEX). Is there a way to have unique row pivot selections for each of the 3 sections and not having the row pivot selections impact all rows instead? Or will this require 3 unique tables, separating the 3 sections? 

Hi all, I am trying to export data in a given metric to azure data factory. I am following the guide in the pigment documentation exactly, however when i go to pull the data, I get a 404 error. I have set up the export keys and I am using the correct applicationID and the correct metricID. Any insights into what else I may be missing would be great.Thank you

Hello Pigment community,I am trying to use the excel connector for Pigment and I have realized that when pulling the data the dates are formatted as text. When I change the format to date and I pull the data again it reverts to the text format.Is there a solution to this limitation? Thank you in advance,Gabriel Ortiz

Is it possible to invite members to multiple applications at once?  Currently I have been going into each application, clicking on Settings, clicking on Roles, permissions & access, and then inviting members there.  It would be great if I could select multiple applications for which I am the owner and do a bulk invite.  Is there any functionality similar to this in Pigment?

Hi. I just finished the Align Block Dimensions for Formula Operations exercise. In the final table, we are to add the four metrics we created. No problem. But, when I look at the table my bonus metric does not match the “solution”. When I check the data, it adds up correctly to year and the formulas match. Any suggestions? Same formula. Did I miss a stop in the course? I didn’t see any instructions on how to build this table, so i’m kind of winging it.Here’s my result:Here’s the solution: 

Hi All, I am trying to create a R&D cost Capitalization schedule and need some help. Essentially which I am trying to do is spread the cost over 3 years but then add the incremental monthly amount as well. For example: If Jan 2024, my R&D cost is $1200 and  $2400 for Feb, then I should see $100 (1200 / 12) for Jan 2024 till Dec 2024 and for Feb cost, it should be $300 ($2400/12 + 100). I hope i am clear in my ask. Hi, I am trying to calculate the MoM change in a metric, I know there is an option of ‘Show Value As’, but that just creates a view on top of the existing numbers and does not perform a calculation on the cells. Is there a way I could do a MoM change using a formula?  Thanks

Hi Pigment Community. So, it just occurred to me as I’m going through the courses that I cannot tell if I’m creating blocks/metrics that are too big. I read an article by @Samya Barkaoui on block building best practices that mentioned I need full read access to see these statistics. Is that correct? Who do I contact to obtain this and is this something that modelers don’t normally need in Pigment?

Hi Everyone, We would like to have an easy workflow and process for compering Budget USD salaries at budget FX rates vs Budget USD salaries at actual FX rates. Is it a right approach to create a FX version dimension like FX actuals, FX forecast, FX budget etc? Or is it more efficient to utilise our current Version dimension and once we have a budget version we just make a copy of it and update FX rates in that version based on actuals to get the re-calculated USD budgeted salaries as per most recent rates? Bonjour, Je suis face à une difficulté et le message d’erreur ‘Formula timed out’ sur mon P&L; J’ai un metric qui calcule mon Budget P&L à partir de plusieurs sources (Revenue, Coût, HR, etc.) ; j’aimerais créer un autre metric reprenant le P&L avec une dimension en plus (une dimension Fournisseur présente uniquement sur les coûts) ; grâce à laquelle je peux voir mes coûts à la granularité fournisseur directement dans le P&L.J’ai donc modifié la structure du metric (en rajoutant la dimension fournisseurs, et modifié la formule avec des ADD sur les autres metrics alimentant cette dernière) ; néanmoins je retombe systématiquement sur un message formula timed out > 3 minutes. Je suppose que c’est lié à ma liste fournisseur (qui est longue) , mais je ne vois pas comment faire pour optimiser la formule ?

When saving views and using the Pigment Connector to export them to google sheets, I’m unable to retain the “hide empty rows and columns” filtering selection. Is this a feature in Pigment or are there plans to add this feature any time soon? Thanks!

Hi there ;  I’m trying to find a way to give access to only one board of an application ; To be more specific :  I have the application "Budget", where the overall budget of the company is. In this application, I have multiple boards and I want to give access to (2 people) to only one of the boards (where they will find their own budget) but I don't want them to see the other boards (they don't have to see them). How should I do it ? Thx in advance 

Hello Pigment community,I have a list of different clients that depending on the amount of users they are charged a different price based on tiers. Currently we do the process with an excel model that calculates the total price of the subscription based on a table that looks like this with the IFS formula:I would like to do this automatically on Pigment but I don’t know how to set it up so that based on the amount of users it multiplies such user for the correct price. Another limitation is that as you can see in the table there is the price of the Core service, and then there are different options that the clients can subscribe to. Therefore I also need pigment to multiply the usage by the correct options depending on what options each client has subscribed to. Currently in excel we do it by the means of this table: 

Several times I’ve run into this… I think I can solve my problem by just manipulating a new view of a metric. Then I realize I need to combine several metrics. When I finally create a table I have to completely recreate the filters, summing, and pivoting in a table. Is there a way to duplicate a view in a metric into a newly created table? This would be very helpful!

I have a board with year as a filter on top of the board and it is possible to select multiple years in this filter. On my board I also have a KPI that should show outgoing HC for the last month based on the selected years. When I look at my data with Years on the rows it looks like the picture below when I use “Last” as time aggregator.However when I remove years from the rows all values are blank. If I change the time aggregator to “Last Non Blank” it shows me values, but the problem is that “Last Non Blank” doesn’t always give me the values for dec in the last year, it returns the cells shown in the second picture below. It feels like a bug that the cells are blank when using “Last” as aggregator in this case or am I doing something wrong?
