Is it possible to trigger an import from Netsuite, Amazon S3 or Salesforce using Pigment’s API?So in this case we don’t want to send the data in the request body, we just like to trigger an existing import using the API instead of having the import to run on a schedule. Just want to confirm if this is supported or not, can’t really tell by reading the documentation here:  

I have created a board in an application that includes all the necessary dashboards and tables. However, I do not want to grant access to the entire application for all users in the organization. Instead, I plan to create separate applications for each department and replicate the board within each of these applications, sharing it only with the respective department heads. Could you advise if there is a way to duplicate or copy a board to a different application?

I have inherited an application and am trying to clean up some items that I don’t believe are in use.  I have a variable that I cannot trace where it is being used (if being used at all).  Is there a way where I can see usage similarly how you can for a block?  I suspect this is not being used as a filter in a board but I want to check before removing it.  Thank you! 

Is there any way to remove a dimension without impacting manual inputs on metrics?  We built our application with nearly every metric using a “version” dimension in order to do budget v forecast and various other scenario planning. With the introduction of scenarios & snapshots, we no longer need to have this additional dimension on every metric.  If, for example, I removed all values on the version dimension list except for our forecast which we use to house all of our manual inputs, could I remove the version dimension and have those values be retained on all of the metrics that leveraged the version dimension? If not, is the only solution to re-input every manual input & manual override across every metric that used that dimension?

Hi Folks, struggling with an issue here. I have HC by dept over time. What I’m trying to do is take the last month of actuals, in this case December. In the example below, its 805. However, when I remove lastnonblank month, the amount jumps to 917. What I noticed when I drill into the 917 is that while month is taking the last month, the other dimensions are being flattened so counts are duplicating where things have changed over time. How do I take the lastnonblank of the other dimensions as well?

Is there a function where the sidebar remains hidden but expands when you hover over it without having to double click to expand?

When you apply a filter to a board you can see that the url is updated to include the current filter. The problem is just that the url only includes a GUID. Is there any way to find these guids in Pigment? For example when filtering on a specific employee in my employee dimension I can see that []=df7ce50d-304b-472e-a8e0-f448d960e8de is added to the url, and I would expect that each employee is related to a unique guid, so question is just how to get from dimension value to a guid. My use case is that I am having a grid view with a list of employees. For each employee I would like to link to another board with details about each employee and I would like this board to automatically be prefiltered based on which row I clicked on the first board. 

I’m running into an issue with the dates getting mixed-up when I load data from Pigment to google sheets (see the formula bar in the screenshot, the date ). The issue is that the title which is a text field appears as the header, and gets translated to a date incorrectly. I tried switching the header in Pigment, but the start/end date fields aren’t listed as options. Did anyone else encounter this? Any suggested solutions? 

Hello Pigment Community,I need help converting dimension-type metrics into text and concatenating them into another metric.For example, in the screenshot I provided, I want the "Concat" metric for Row A to display "Asste1Con1".How can I achieve this? Hi, we have users that work on multiple boards at the same time that share common pages selectors.The challenge here is that when we switch from one dimension element to another on the page selector in one tab, we need to go through each other tab to adjust the page to the newly selected element. As people here work with like 10 tabs in parallel, that s a lot of clicks to update boards and have them being synced.Do you people encounter those kind of usage / challenge ?Are there ways to make this work in pigment and how if you experimented it ?I was thinking maybe using a custom user defined variable ?

Hello, I have created a calculated item cumulating totals by week for a month. I would like to show the cumulative total of each week on a chart, without showing that week’s individual total. In the example below, I would like to remove the lighter blue “Jan 25” value, and keep the calculated item - the cumulative total by week. Is there a way I can do this?  Thank you!   

Is there a way to unshare a block if it hasn’t been used yet? I accidentally shared a block I didn’t want to, and in the block settings->library the share toggle is greyed out. It says it’s being used somewhere else, but also says “Not Used” beside it. 

Is there a bug in Dynamic variable?I have a metric with Year format and This year populates the actual months. When I apply this variable it doesn’t update variable in page selectors instantaneously. Instead I have to wait for a minute or two to see it get applied Or we need to refresh the browser url or application in order for it to make work. Is this the intended behaviour or Am I missing anything?Appreciate your responses!  Thanks,Misbah  

Hi Pigmenteers 🤗I have an input table with 10 input metrics (same dimensions, serve the same purpose). I know how to create them 1 by 1 directly from the table (more convenient), but I’m curious whether there is a way in Pigment we can create them all at the same time? 🤔

Hello,I have a Date field called “Delivery Date” (Ex : 10/06/2024). From here, I want to extract the day of the week in text format (Example :10/06/2024 is “Monday”) and my calculated field should show similar to the example here. I tried WEEKDAY(‘Delivery Date’) and it returns day of the week but in number format and I tried again TEXT(WEEKDAY(‘Delivery date”), again it does not work. How to convert weekday into Text format like Mon,Tue,etc…? thanksMohan

Hello! I’m attempting to aggregate my metrics into a full P&L with actual and forecast views. I have data coming from a Shared_IS_Actuals dimension, several Revenue and COGS dimensions already mapped, a Shared_WF_Plan dimension, and a Shared_Opex_Plan dimension. I’ve been able thus far to successfully have Actuals for all IS accounts pull in, and have Revenue, COGS, and WF (payroll, benefits, taxes) appear in a single metric. However, when I try to add my Shared_Opex_Plan data using the formula below, my Actuals stay, my revenue and cogs disappear, my WF_Plan stays, and my Opex_Plan disappears, leaving me with only the WF_Plan.  It’s like the first by modifier to map the WF_Plan to the CoA is applying to everything? What am I missing?

Hi everyone!I am trying to add a conditional formatting in my headcount metric in order to highlight when the number of employees increases or decreases from month to month.
