Dears, I have been getting this error recently when I perform divisions on Pigment. I understand division by 0 or blank can give NA, that is why I use an IF in the formula to make sure we do not computate those values. Thank you very much in advance!Jose

Hi,Can someone please tell me about the best practice for Data Cloning in metrics from one version to another such that even data which is the result of a formula gets cloned when new version is added? This is my find with regards to data cloning:1) In formula driven metrics with manual override on, only manual inputs get cloned. Data resulting from formula does not get cloned.

Hey!I wanted to check if there are any plans to introduce a feature that allows aggregation by formula. Currently, we can aggregate metrics using options like sum or average, but what if we want to display the value calculated by a formula at all levels of the hierarchy? I’ve seen some previous workarounds in the community, such as displaying the metric as a percentage value, but I’m curious if this functionality is expected in the near future.Thanks! :)

Hi Team,I’m trying to configure user access in so that certain metric values are hidden for specific users, while the table structure (rows and columns) remains visible.For example, as shown in the screenshot, I want users to see the list of Countries, along with Cost and Gross Margin numbers — but the Revenue values should be completely hidden for them. Essentially, the user should still be able to see the row and column headers, just not the restricted metric data.I tried setting up Data Access Rights based on Roles, but it either hides the entire row or still shows the Revenue numbers.Has anyone implemented this type of partial metric-level masking? What is the best way to achieve this?Thanks in advance! 

Will boolean TRUE persist after formula condition which uses ISDEFINED is met even if the data which meets the True condition is removed?

I need help fixing a mission for a variance analysis agent.  I am attempting to make it as dynamic as possible, so I am using a variable called @CurrentMonth which is a calculated metric that pulls the most current month we have transaction data into all my scenarios.   The calculated value for the @CurrentMonth variable for my @Actuals scenario is “0ct 25”.  I have another scenario called “Working Forecast” that has a calculated value of “May 25”.When I run this AI agent, no matter how I write the instructions, it uses the value of “May 25” which is nowhere in the instructions, not even implicity.The only way this works is if I change the variable for @CurrentMonth to be hard coded as “Oct 25”.What am I doing wrong? Hi everyone, I’m currently working on the TrainingPro and I’m struggling to understand how to add a selector to my Board.My Board only contains a TransactionList, and as far as I know you can’t add a page selector inside a TransactionList that would show up as a selector in the Board. Is there a way to create a standalone selector in the Board, or do I need to add another widget just to generate a page selector? Thanks for your help!

In Pigment, we can display the history of a metric (e.g., a cell change by dimension intersection, inserted value). I’d like to know if there is an API that can return this data

Hi! How would I calculate the average of all instances of X day of month? I have a metric with $X by day, and want to return the average of all 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. of the months. Preferably rolling so if my calendar starts in 2024 then Oct 15th 2025 would return ((Oct 14th’24 + Oct 14th’25) / 2).Thank you!

We are experiencing that if we save a copy of a Google Sheet with Pigment Connector connections, we lose the connections in the copied sheet.  We just want to double-check if there's a way to maintain connections in a copied sheet or is it perhaps on the radar to be supported in the future?  Thank you!

I have a few recommendations for the naming conventions1.) the prefixes should be in lowercase. UPPER case draws your eye to the prefix and that isn’t the key to the metric; it’s a supporting detail. I believe CALC_Gross Margin highlights the calc more than the Gross MarginCALC_Gross Marginvs.calc_Gross Margin 2.) the prefix SET is misleading.If you step away from writing formulas for a while (a few weeks) and then come back, you have to remember SET is a setting and it isn’t an imperative /command. For instance SET_Load Actuals to me sounds like you want to change something. I

I love the concept of the Prettify Formula, but I don’t love the logic it uses. Having spent a bit of my earlier career in software development, I realized a few things that made my code more readable.When doing if logic, I want the comma separating the logic test and true result placed on a new ling and indented to just past the opening “(“. Hello everyone,I have created a Clone data in metrics set up on my application settings but when I go to the board to add the action button the Clone data in Metrics form does not appear to let me choose what i want to copy and where..Basically i can only use one preset configuration into the app settings. Am I loosing a step? I also see in the documentation that is clearly possibile but I can’t manage to set it up;Thanks in advance, community, for your help! :) 

Hi We have a scenario where we need to get Grouping data from members management into Users dimensional list.We did grouping based on different roles and permission and We need to get this grouping data based on each user in the members management into User dimensional property.Do we have any option to achieve this? 

From Dimension B, How can I look up a property from Dimension A based on a Dimension A property which is in Dimension B? MS-Copilot told me to use Lookup (), which works in Anaplan but I cannot find Lookup in Pigment functions.  Thank you.

Hello everyone, urgent!!Do you know of any tricks (functions, modifiers, data actions) to copy data from year N to year N+1, or from forecast version 8+4 2021 to forecast version 8+4 2023, into a new metric without deleting any data from the previous year or version? Does anyone know if I can sort the items in a filter so that my cost centers (or GL account) shows in ascending order? I created a filter for cost center currently but all the available items are listed randomly, I tried sorting the dimension list in ascending order but it doesn’t reflect properly when I use the selectors. Thank you!

Hello,I have 2 different transaction lists from 2 separate sources. I would like to combinate both Transaction lists thanks to a common textual field “Reference Number”. On SQL, I would use an “Union” operator. What about Pigment? If I guess correctly, I cannot combine Transaction lists direclty on Pigment. But I have 3 options:    1. Transform my SQL request to have an unique source and Transaction list.    2. Manually export, transform and load a third transaction list (Too time-consuming).    3. Use my “Reference Number” field as a dimension.This reference dimension should contain thousands, even millions of elements. I have imported a list of 1,914 employees into a dimension called “Ramp Users.”In my Transaction List, I have two key properties: Description – this contains text fields that include employee names (e.g., “Airfare reimbursement – John Doe”). Ramp User – this is where I want to pull in the matching employee name from the Ramp Users dimension. Hello Pigment Community,Is there a way to set up a page filter that dynamically changes based on another page filter — similar to how dependent dropdowns work?I know we can use Dependent Page Selections (as shown below), but that only works when the first dimension is a property of the second dimension. In my case, neither of the two dimensions is part of the other. So I would like to create a metric to define their relationship and use it for the setup. 

Are there keyboard shorts while I’m creating metrics, etc. that would be able to pop menus open, etc? Did I miss that in the training?

In order to quickly and automatically create documentation, is there a way to display the description of all metrics used in a board or in a table?

Hi all - I was trying to do something similar to the analysis Actuals vs Forecast as it is shown in the video of this use case.In that example, Actuals and Forecast columns are version dimension, right? How is it possible to do the monthly variance and the YTD variance all in the same table? I did something simliar but in two different tables because in one I need only one month and in the YTD I need several so it’s a different filter How can I link the variance reason to the actual delta (maybe it should be something around the by→ but not sure). Does anyone have experience on doing so? I’m struggling a bit.Thanks!
