Generally, we create metric for current month or year and use it for further calculation.If we can use variable in formula than we will not have to create metric for the same.So I would like to know that we can use variable in formula, if yes then how?

Hello, I want to automate the loading of a statement. To do this, I have a database that assigns each keyword in a label to a category.I would like that when I reload my statement, Pigment recognizes the keyword in each label and assigns it to the corresponding category thanks to the created database. What formula can I use? Thank you for your help

I accidently changed a property from text to dimension and I lost all the date that was on the property of this dimension, this dimension list is extremely crucial and is the building block of other boards. Is there anyway I can have it back please?

Hi Pigment community,I want to realise a LTM (Last Twelves Months) analysis for a metric.For the moment, I’m able to cumulate only by the beginning of the period with the function:CUMULATE(Revenues,Month)[Filter: Month.Year = Year."FY 22" OR Month.Year = Year."FY 23" OR Month.Year = Year."FY 21"]I can make it “restart” each year with using CUMULATE(Revenues,Month,Month.Year) but I want to cumulate the last 12 Months onlyLTM Revenue Feb 22 should be starting from Feb 21 and not Jan 21.How can I do that?Many thanks

Hi Community,Having a weird issue where when scheduling a webhook push from looker I’m unable to import all the data when setting the delivery to be All Results vs Results in Table. When doing Results in Table i’m able to import everything instantly but when configuring and sending a test for all results it doesn’t seem like any import is kicked off. Wondering what is occurring on the backend and if this a looker or Pigment issue. Setting I need to apply When having it for Results in table the import worked  

 I need to add a column to calculate the income [ m- (m-1)] in order to get the difference in income between two months do you know how to do it Thanks  

Hello!I have created AR rules to give a person access to one country only. I have verified the access on all blocks through the impersonate feature and everything seems to be working. I have created a monthly P&L with Budget vs Actual columns. When I want to see YTD numbers, the total column at the end adds up both Budget & Actual numbers. Is there a way to see the totals for Budget and Actual separately?

Hello,I have 2 metrics :Actual with Dimensions : Client, Region, Sales Area, Period Type (Actual) Budget with Dimensions : Region, Sales Area, Period Type (Budget)I want to add these 2 metrics and keep the Client dimension. If I select Budget as Period Type, I just want BLANK for the Client dimension, if I select Actual as Period Type, I want the figures for the client dimension.Is it possible to do it ?Thank you

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to find a more efficient solution to modeling our yields. We have several dimensions by which we measure yields (region, segment, ramp status, etc...) and currently have separate blocks for each measure which can lead to confusion. I would like to consolidate yield calculations into a few blocks and pivot from there on the necessary dimensions. Any ideas on how to best set up yields?

Hello,I have 2 Transaction Lists :List 1 : with Doc # (string), Parent Item (Dimension), Product Lvl 2 (Dimension) List 2 : with Doc # (string)None of the Doc # is unique on both Lists.In List 2 I want to retrieve Parent Item following the rule : IF List1.Doc # = List2.Doc # AND Product Lvl 2 = “VPS” Then Parent Item (Dimension)I tried this but doesn’t work and I don’t understand why.  In my screenshot, P&L.Transaction = Doc # from List 2 and Transaction List.Document Numer = Doc # from List 1Thanks for your help ! Alexandre

Generated a sequence of days ( → Day metric in Pigment)2. Hello !I have created a table to display our monthly key figures with actuals vs budget. I have added the following columns with the calculated item function: YTD values (with the cumulate option in the calculated item), and variation in € + variation in % for the monthly and YTD values.When my initial data is in number it’s ok, but I don’t know if it’s possible to use the calculated item option for calculating YTD values in % and calculating their variation (for example gross margin % and EBITDA %). Could you please help me to find the best way to calculate these values in my table?Hope my request is clear enough!Thanks,Elodie
