Hi everyone, I am working a logic where I need to Input P&L interest value line based on calculation which will refer to P&L Interest line again.  Below is example of same with Excel formula, how do I avoid error on P&L Interest line.   Thanks.

I am trying to recreate the below waterfall-type allocation and running into an issue having to use previous() functions across multiple dimensions. I created an example below to recreate what I am trying to accomplish. In the example, I have a certain amount of dollars to spend each month that I need to allocate across various items. I can’t spend more than the amounts on the column header and each item has a certain cost associated with it.  I am able to accomplish it with the formula using excel below but when I try to do it in Pigment, I having to use previous on both the month dimension and the item dimension in order to ensure I don’t go over the capped quantity/cost. Anyone have any suggestions?   

My team has been experiencing issues with the Excel connector lately, receiving this error sometimes when trying to pull data into Excel:“An error occurred (Data pull). Please try again later or contact us”.  Does anybody know why this error occurs? Is there a row or data limit when pulling into Excel that we should be aware of?

I have a list on a board. I noticed that when I filter directly in the list, there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the filter from the board view. I have to expand the the list and go directly to the block in order to remove the filter. Is there another way to remove list/table filters when I right click? Currently, it allows me to keep adding filters but not way to remove or edit filters already in place.The example below has a filter on a text column. I do know that if this was a dimension I could add it to page selector but in this case, we have it as text by design.  

Hi everyone,I’m trying to export data using the endpoint https://pigment.app/api/export/view/<view_id> via PowerShell. Despite using a valid API token and correct view ID, I get DNS or connection errors.I’ve tried: PowerShell, Postman, and curl Changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 Running from mobile hotspot and cloud environments Swagger UI — but after authorization, all actions are locked and I cannot trigger export None of these methods are working.Could you please confirm: Are these endpoints operational from India? I am trying to identify the most recent date in the transaction list at the vendor, IS0, and Function level. I am using a MAXOF (date) formula and aggregating by desired dimensions. Any idea why this formula isn’t working? 

Hi Pigment Community,I want to calculate Growth Rates with the PREVIOUS function, but suddenly it doesn’t work as expected.This is my simple Test Metric:Calculating the Growth with PREVIOUS does not work:​​​​​​However, selecting the previous Year with SELECT does work:I would expect the PREVIOUS function to select exactly the same cell as the SELECT function. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi All,I am working on requirement where the calculation involves a multiplier to be applied on previous years based on year for which it is calculated. Please see screenshot below.I want to achieve the result in B to be dynamic, so it can be calculated until whichever year user decides it needs to stop. Currently I have achieved this by manual multiplier & Select function on Year to offset, but this is limited to years based on offset I define in formula.'Metric A' + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-1]*2 +  'Metric A'[Select: Year-2]*3 + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-3]*4 + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-4]*5 Please advise, if there is a way to make this dynamic.Thanks

We use Rippling for HRIS and Payroll. There is no native connector. I am looking for specific guidance and best practices on how to integrate them. I will share this info with IT and my consultant. Thanks.

Hi everyone,Is there a way to add dynamic variable for scenarios. For example, I have 2 scenarios, Actual and Budget and for some boards after the user ticks a Boolean check-box metric I want to show them the budget scenario else the budget scenario will be hidden.Is there a way I can achieve this?Thanks & regards,Spandan

Hi everyone,I want to lock the budget scenario after my actual date starts, for example till 31st Dec, 2024, I will allow users to make change but when the date goes to 1st Jan, 2025, I want the budget scenario to be locked.Is there a way I can achieve this?Thanks,Spandan

I have a metric that requires user input — it has a base scenario and a second scenario. I would like scenario 2 to initially default to the input for the base scenario but then have the ability override it and be a separate input from the base scenario.Is this possible? 

I have a Field /List Property in a Transaction list whose text I need to parse. How can I convert the dimension value to a text value so I can parse it?

However, I noticed that the recent addition of constant black borders around grids doesn’t align well with the overall formatting of the boards and the brand aesthetics of companies. It would be great if this could be reverted to the previous design, which felt more consistent and visually cohesive.Thank you!

I’m trying to calculate fee % on the total amount. Both metrics have the same 5 dimensions. However my output when I directly calculate it as a formula is different from when I use Calculations “show value as” in the table which is correct.Since both have the same dimensions, how do I get the correct % at all levels of the dimension?The first is from “show value as” and the second is from a metric. How do I get both of these to be correct and the same?

Hello,I might have a really simple question, but I can't quite figure it out. Is there a way to show the available item variables in a page selector on a board? If I go into the page selector options by clicking on the edit button on a board I can see all available item variables for a specific dimension (for example under ‘available items’ or ‘default items’). But via de dropdown on the page selectors themselves it is not possible to use the variable as a filter? The specific underlying use case is that I have created a subset of profit centers and I would like the end users to be able to view that specific subset of profit centers by filtering the page selector. They shouldn't manually have to click one-by-one.I hope my question is clear :-) Thanks a lot everybody!Bas

From a reporting standpoint, it looks odd to show cells with no values as blank. When putting together a Board report, I would always ensure that nil values show as zero or dash. Can the display of blank cells be considered, same as we have the option within formatting to show as 0 or -?

Hi all,If I use the impersonate feature and clicks on the button which triggers an export (action button : data action : trigger export) which have n number of metrics, and if all the n metrics are having the same Access Rights applied on those because they are all on the same dimensionality, then in the Export view, it shows all the data irrespective of the access rights and impersonation.Hence, in order to see the export view from the actual user’s perspective, that person needs to login for triggering the export, because impersonation doesn’t work as expected for the data action -- trigger export (with AR applied on it)Regards!
