Hi, I have two transaction lists:TBL_employees - a transaction list that includes information relating to each employee at the end of each monthTBL_accounting - a transaction list that includes all the journal entries from our accounting softwareIn the TBL_accounting we have a dimension called EMPLOYEE_ID, this dimension contains the ID of an employee for all journal entries that relate to a specific employee (ex. salaries), and a dimension MONTH that contains the month of the journal entry.In the TBL_employees we have the same two dimensions - EMPLOYEE_id and MONTH as well as a dimension called EMPLOYEE_category which specifies if the employee is a manager or an individual contributor.What I want to do is add the dimension EMPLOYEE_category into TBL_accounting using the EMPLOYEE_id

If you create 3 Models, what is the easiest way to check which Dimensions, Metrics from one Model are used in another?Case: a copy has been made of a working Model and updated. Too many updates have been made and we want to make the copied Model the new Model, but we need to check which Blocks to reconnect. What is the best way to do that? Dependency Diagram in combination with Settings > Libraries? Or is there a quicker way?

    The purpose of this article is to explain how you can export CSV data from Pigment and transform it into Excel so that the data is separated into columns.When you export data from Pigment, data is separated by semicolon. If you are planning to use the data in Excel, this is not very useful as all of your data grouped in a small number of columns. As a result we need to perform transformation on the extract before we can use the data.Steps to transform the data in ExcelTo transform the data in Excel, you should follow the steps below: Download CSV on Pigment  

HelloI am trying to pull data on one dashboard from another , where I am trying to sum up 2 specific accounts. This is the formula I am using : 'Data - Monthly - Final'[filter: 'CoA & Function'.CoA = CoA."30012" AND 'CoA & Function'.CoA = CoA."30011"] What is wrong here? The amount come up blank. When I remove the text post “30012” I get the numbers for 30012. Is AND not something I should use here?

Hi Pigment Support, I’ve integrated Bamboo with our workforce planning app via API Token.However, when I try to import a report get the error “Report does not exist”.I know the report exists in Bamboo, and I have double checked the report ID which is definitely right.We have also integrated Bamboo with other services we use without issue.Any hints on how to fix this?Thanks!Naomi

 Month is supposed to be a list demension but if i write t the formula it came like a function.Thats why the formula is false

Hi Community,we just started to push Salesforce Data into Pigment.Currently we face the issue, that our Salesforce amounts  (Type currency) cannot be imported into Pigment as number, due to the currency symbols.Is there any workaround instead of converting all Salesforce amount currency fields into number fields? Hi here,The possibility to Push Data from Gsheet to Pigment is very useful, thanks.However, when pushing the informations, it seems that the line are being added to the previous lines and not replacing them.For example, if someone is reviewing his budget in Gsheet and we want to push the information in Pigment, new figures will be added the previous pushed figures.Is there a way to “update” the Named_Range and not adding it? Thanks

Hi, I am looking for a way of using the filter function with two conditions. Example: Looking for a sum of specific accounts and cost centers. lets say for accounts: 400,401 and 406 and from cost centers 21;1000;1150;1321;1400;2321;2400.I am already using the filter to look for the sum of the accounts, but found out that I need it on specific cost centers as well Any ideas how to solve this? :) - Benedikte

Hi everybody. I’ve come across a task to post one metric to a dashboard in the form of several graphs each of which will show the only element of a dimension. Let’s say we have different networks: 2g, 3g, 4g in a single metric. I need three graphs to show traffic per network type: The first one should be 2g traffic, another one - 3g, the last one - 4g.They should not be synchronized by this dimension (‘Technology’ dimension on the graph). How to properly do it? Thank you.

Hello, What is best way to setup the metric formula to summarize the # of headcount by following three?by Division (using Division property) by monthly (using Effective date property. I’m having issues properly showing the growth and variance of negative items.As an example, if actual EBITDA was -0.25 and budget was -1.0, I can get the difference to display correctly, but my only options for % variance are-75% (-.25- -1.0)/-1 or  +300% (-1- -.25)/-.25Neither of those are correct.  It should be +75%.  I can use “Reverse Signs” but that doesnt apply to conditional formatting.  Has anyone figured out a better way to show this in a table?

Hi Team, As we know pigment is all about visuallization, how interesting and convenient we can make board for the end user and visually appealing . On community we have article on Board Inspiration also where we get tips on board preparation but it would be more helpful if we could have some pictorial representation of how we can make our board more eye catching and sensible for end user at the same time. Hi Pigment Folks, I have the following FX conversion rate challenge,ContextI build my Balance Sheet from staging transaction amounts in local currency from Transactions list and structuring the amounts over a hierarchy were account number is the lower level.My problem comes when trying to convert the amounts to our reporting currency. - I have a metric where I input the conversion rates on a monthly basis. - The balance sheet has the following behaviour: Every month, the cumulative amounts should be converting to the latest rates. And every year should be converting to the last month of the year rates.ChallengeI’m looking to create an FX metric that I can apply to the staged amounts that it’s flexible.I mean that whenever I’m showing data by years, quarters and months select the right rates.
