Count # of direct reports each month

​​​​​​I have a metric called 'EE_Card_Employee Manager' with the following:Dimensions (2): ‘Employee’ & ‘Month’Data Type: Dimension ‘Employee’Currently the metric shows each employee’s manager each month. I would like to create a new metric that counts an employee’s # of direct reports by month. I am using the following formula which is not returning the correct result, can someone please advise?COUNTOF('EE_Card_Employee Manager') [by: -> 'EE_Card_Employee Manager'] [remove count: 'Employee']

Permissions for the new dimension mapping capability

Restrict Access for Scenarios

Hi everyone,I want to lock the budget scenario after my actual date starts, for example till 31st Dec, 2024, I will allow users to make change but when the date goes to 1st Jan, 2025, I want the budget scenario to be locked.Is there a way I can achieve this?Thanks,Spandan

Default base scenario input but still allow for separate input for second scenario

I have a metric that requires user input — it has a base scenario and a second scenario. I would like scenario 2 to initially default to the input for the base scenario but then have the ability override it and be a separate input from the base scenario.Is this possible?

Percentage mix calculation

I’m trying to calculate fee % on the total amount. Both metrics have the same 5 dimensions. However my output when I directly calculate it as a formula is different from when I use Calculations “show value as” in the table which is correct.Since both have the same dimensions, how do I get the correct % at all levels of the dimension?The first is from “show value as” and the second is from a metric. How do I get both of these to be correct and the same?

Filter on item variables in page selector

Hello,I might have a really simple question, but I can't quite figure it out. Is there a way to show the available item variables in a page selector on a board? If I go into the page selector options by clicking on the edit button on a board I can see all available item variables for a specific dimension (for example under ‘available items’ or ‘default items’). But via de dropdown on the page selectors themselves it is not possible to use the variable as a filter? The specific underlying use case is that I have created a subset of profit centers and I would like the end users to be able to view that specific subset of profit centers by filtering the page selector. They shouldn't manually have to click one-by-one.I hope my question is clear :-) Thanks a lot everybody!Bas

Cells with no value/blank should have an option to display as 0 or '-'

From a reporting standpoint, it looks odd to show cells with no values as blank. When putting together a Board report, I would always ensure that nil values show as zero or dash. Can the display of blank cells be considered, same as we have the option within formatting to show as 0 or -?

Hello, Seems like a silly question to ask but I am having a hard time locating the model ID within a model and can’t locate this info in any documentation. On a similar note, where do you locate the workspace ID? Thanks for your support,HA

Access Rights of 'Trigger Export' data action

Hi all,If I use the impersonate feature and clicks on the button which triggers an export (action button : data action : trigger export) which have n number of metrics, and if all the n metrics are having the same Access Rights applied on those because they are all on the same dimensionality, then in the Export view, it shows all the data irrespective of the access rights and impersonation.Hence, in order to see the export view from the actual user’s perspective, that person needs to login for triggering the export, because impersonation doesn’t work as expected for the data action -- trigger export (with AR applied on it)Regards!

Skip to line text in metrics

Hello,Is there an option to skip to line when the text is long on a metric ? There would be enough space to write :“YTD internal heacounts (end of month)”Thank you

Dimension Column Width Setting

There should be an option or setting to adjust the column width for all columns in the Transaction List/Dimension List at once. Currently, column width can only be adjusted individually per property. A global setting to apply the same width across all columns would enhance usability and efficiency.

Cumulate function

Hi everyone,I'm trying to use the cumulate function to sum only the FY26 months of the metric Nexus Lowest Level, but the output includes all years instead of just FY26.Has anyone run into this or knows how to fix it?Thanks in advance!

I’ve been working with MeltOne for nearly three and a half years now and over the last decade my career has been focused on FP&A and financial planning tools.I started out with Oracle-based solutions, transitioned to Tagetik as a technical architect, and then discovered Pigment in 2022. ISFIRSTOCCURRENCE formula for dimension creation

With the new functionnality to create dimension based on an other dimension/transaction list, I want to create a concatenation of 2 columns in my transaction list but.. Pigment say there is an error because a lot of rows don’t have unique ID. Is it existing a “ISFIRSTOCCURENCE” formula or simithing similar to filter my view and solve the point ?

How to lookup property value of dimension?

Hi, I am trying to create a Boolean metric with Month as the only dimension member. I want to write a formula where if the month is greater than eg. “April 2025” and less than or equal to ‘Last Actual Month’ (Month dimension property member of ‘Save Version’) of ‘Save Version’.”Live Version” then TRUE but I am having trouble calling the ‘Last Actual Month’ of ‘Save Version’.”Live Version”.I think ideally I would be able to pull something like ‘Save Version’.”Live Version”.’Last Actual Month’ but surely it can’t be that simple? 😅

Circular Dependency on Transaction List and dimension

Hi Team,We have an input transaction list for new seat requests. In this list, a manager and above can come an ask for a new seat / headcount and that is determine by Supervisory Org. So if I am a Senior Manager, I can come and request for a Manager position and so on.   We also have a dimension list called Supervisory Org 1 which determines what is the Org of an employee and what are the levels above. Now we want to pull the levels for the new seat based on the manager’s level. But this is giving us the circular reference error.​​​​​​Bottom line is we are using the dimension list to pull the levels in transaction list based of of hiring manager level and now we want to put it back in the dimension for the hiring position. Any workaround for this situation?

SFTP connection

I am receiving an error “xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is not a valid unix username” when trying to establish an SFTP connection. The username is quite long - 27 characters. The connection works in other SFTP clients like Filezilla using the exact same parameters. Any ideas?
