Our current approach uses a formula that pulls department data from a NetSuite Actuals saved search. It looks up the department code and returns the department name if it is in the actuals report. However, for new departments that don’t yet have transactions, the lookup fails—defaulting to “No Department”—even though the department code and name already technically exist in NetSuite.While we can hardcode logic (e.g., map department 239 to a specific name), this isn’t scalable. From what I understand, we can’t create a transaction list that syncs directly to the full NetSuite department list, since that’s not a saved search.One workaround we’ve considered is exporting the department list manually from NetSuite into a Google Sheet and syncing that, but we’re hoping there’s a cleaner solution.How do others or Pigment typically handle this situation when planning for future departments without actuals? IF(ISDEFINED('NetSuite PL Actuals'.Dep

I am investigating using Fivetran to export Pigment data into Snowflake and I didn’t see anything in the Pigment or Fivetran documentation about access to snapshots. Is it possible to export Pigment data from a snapshot into Snowflake?

Hello Everyone,  I have a dimension which is called Supervisory Org which is the Workday hierarchy. In that dimension, I have properties called Level2, Level3, Level 4 etc. which is basically the hierarchy chain.  I am seeing help to develop a logic as to if I select select someones name, I should get everyone rolling up to that person and not only the direct repartees. Not sure if anyone has faced this before. Any help will be appreciated. 

I currently uploaded 2 transaction list containing payroll details. 1 of the report has both Employee ID and Name and the other report only has Name.I’m able to match the names below but i want it to return the employee ID as well, what formula should I use? The example below: I want the 3rd column to return 4068 for Aaron Brethorst.   Thanks in advance!

I have a transaction list with a roster from each month taken on the last day of the month. Sometimes HR would make retroactive changes after the load is done. For example, HR may input a term date on July 1 for someone who terminated June 30. The term date now shows up in the July roster but is missing from June roster. I want to somehow flag that the June roster is MISSING this term date. In the image, Vincent’s term date was captured in July because the term info was processed AFTER the June date was imported. Vincent should have a June term date in the June snapshot, but it is missing instead. In Excel, I could do this:=XLOOKUP(“Snaphot Month”, “Test1 (Term Month)”, “Name”, “Name”, “Term1 (Term Month))This essentially looks up the the employee’s Term month using the snapshot month that is = to the term month (in “Test1”). Hi everybody,I am looking for a way to implement a form of circular referencing across multiple blocks. Essentially, I am trying to create a feedback loop like below: This is a snip of an OPEX forecasting model. I want to give the end users the possibility to use the output of a certain forecasting version as the input for a new forecast. That means that users can say: prefill my new forecast with the figures from any of the previous forecasts. I don't think that PREVIOUSBASE() or PREVIOUS() can work, because if I'm not mistaken that only takes the previous value from the iteration dimension. But I want the users to be flexible to choose whatever forecast they want as the base for their new forecast.How can I best go about this? Bas

Hello community,I'm looking for a cumulate grouped by Qty. I have a first metric which indicates my need of Qtés per week, and I need a second metric able to detect the week when I exceed the minimum to order. In my example, I have a minimum order of 6. In Line 1 I calculate my requirement per week. (that's done)In Line 2 I want to trigger an order when I've reached at least my minimum order.If I have that, it's already good In an ideal world, I'd have to reduce this quantity to the 1st week, a bit like a moving sum function but with variable parameters. If anyone has an algo idea, I'd be grateful ^^.

Hi All, hoping you can help me here … I need to create a metric using just 3 accounts of the GL, I know I can use the filter option but this doesn't work as I need to sum this metric total to other totals from different metrics. Is there a way to pull my GL Actuals asking Pigment to exclude everything but these 3 accounts?

How can I filter a dimension dropdown in my table? I created a dependent dropdown but there is still the ability to select “all options”. I still need the user to have read access of all list members in because they are also viewing their previous budget but I want to limit the dropdown because some choices are now inactive.

I am trying to recreate the below waterfall-type allocation and running into an issue having to use previous() functions across multiple dimensions. I created an example below to recreate what I am trying to accomplish. In the example, I have a certain amount of dollars to spend each month that I need to allocate across various items. I can’t spend more than the amounts on the column header and each item has a certain cost associated with it.  I am able to accomplish it with the formula using excel below but when I try to do it in Pigment, I having to use previous on both the month dimension and the item dimension in order to ensure I don’t go over the capped quantity/cost. Anyone have any suggestions?   

My team has been experiencing issues with the Excel connector lately, receiving this error sometimes when trying to pull data into Excel:“An error occurred (Data pull). Please try again later or contact us”.  Does anybody know why this error occurs? Is there a row or data limit when pulling into Excel that we should be aware of?

I have a list on a board. I noticed that when I filter directly in the list, there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the filter from the board view. I have to expand the the list and go directly to the block in order to remove the filter. Is there another way to remove list/table filters when I right click? Currently, it allows me to keep adding filters but not way to remove or edit filters already in place.The example below has a filter on a text column. I do know that if this was a dimension I could add it to page selector but in this case, we have it as text by design.

Despite using a valid API token and correct view ID, I get DNS or connection errors.I’ve tried: PowerShell, Postman, and curl Changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 Running from mobile hotspot and cloud environments Swagger UI — but after authorization, all actions are locked and I cannot trigger export None of these methods are working.Could you please confirm: Are these endpoints operational from India? I am trying to identify the most recent date in the transaction list at the vendor, IS0, and Function level. I am using a MAXOF (date) formula and aggregating by desired dimensions. Any idea why this formula isn’t working? 

Hi Pigment Community,I want to calculate Growth Rates with the PREVIOUS function, but suddenly it doesn’t work as expected.This is my simple Test Metric:Calculating the Growth with PREVIOUS does not work:​​​​​​However, selecting the previous Year with SELECT does work:I would expect the PREVIOUS function to select exactly the same cell as the SELECT function. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi All,I am working on requirement where the calculation involves a multiplier to be applied on previous years based on year for which it is calculated. Please see screenshot below.I want to achieve the result in B to be dynamic, so it can be calculated until whichever year user decides it needs to stop. Currently I have achieved this by manual multiplier & Select function on Year to offset, but this is limited to years based on offset I define in formula.'Metric A' + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-1]*2 +  'Metric A'[Select: Year-2]*3 + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-3]*4 + 'Metric A'[Select: Year-4]*5 Please advise, if there is a way to make this dynamic.Thanks
