Hi,as part of the fifth section of the Pro Training, I need to Allocate all values of  Workforce Cost Plan → to PnL_Account 6001. What is missing in my formula?Workforce_Cost_Plan_Output[ADD CONSTANT: PnL_Account."6001"] keep getting an error:“Error: Syntax error: cannot validate formula” Thanks in advance    

I have source files to build dimension lists like Territory and Product with hierarchical relationships which have hierarchy level column. I want to build Territory and product dimension lists by importing the respective files and filter by lowest hierarchy level (a number that show the level) during import definition. Is it possible?For example I have a product file with below columns, I want to load Products that are equal to Hier Level ‘3’. 

Hi everyone,I’m trying to determine whether each active customer received their invoice for each month.I have two tables, both having the dimensions month and customer ID: An "Activity" table, which has one row per customer per month, indicating whether the customer was active. If the client was not active on a specific month, he will just not appear in the table for this month An "Invoices" table, which lists all the invoices sent. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Everyone ! I have created a metric which will calculate a simple EBITDA/Net Sales ratio, which is as followed:I want to be able to switch to a yearly view easily. The issue is that when I pivot the table to show yearly data, it aggregates all the months instead of displaying the ratio between yearly EBITDA and yearly Net Sales. I need it to show the correct yearly ratio, not just a sum of monthly values. Is there a way to prevent aggregation and ensure that the metric correctly calculates the yearly ratio ? I want to ensure it’s possible to switch views while keeping the same metric. Ultimately, the goal is to use this metric in a board and app

I have a dimension text property with a list of items. I want this list to be populated as a new dimension list. I used a concatenate in this property to get a new text item and I want this new text to be converted into a dimension. How can I do this with the help of formula?

Hello,I'm experiencing some issues with pushing data to Pigment from Excel. I have a simple dimension list (800+ items with about 4 dimension properties) that I would like to periodically update from Excel. I exported the current dimension list to .csv and used that .csv to setup an import configuration in Pigment. Then I pasted the .csv in Excel and updated the 4 dimension properties. I then named the data range in Excel but when I try to configure a push connection it doesn't recognize the named cells (“no names defined”).Also, when I try to input the cell ranges manually (A1 → G800) and then push the data to the dimension block in Pigment, the import fails (headers are not found...). Any help is appreciated. Hello,I have one table that has a number of calculated items in them. In the order of events: first the YTD value is calculated using cumulate (works fine). Secondly, the index versus budget is calculated (works fine for YTD) and lastly the index versus LY is calculated (that one goes wrong for YTD (only blanks). The strange thing is, is that that ratio versus LY does work fine when calculated over the month, but it shows blanks when calculated over YTD.Below are snapshots of my calculated items. Can anybody see why the index versus LYTD would return blank values?Thanks, Bas 

I am trying to import a file manually. On the mapping tab in pigment the year column shows error. I tried various variations of the date format in my source file but the error is still not resolved. In pigment values for year dimension look like “FY 10”, I maintained the same date formatted structure in source file but the import did not work. I tried changing the year to look like “2010” in source file but that did not work either. what could be the possible reason for this error? 

Hello,Lately I’ve been getting error messages when trying to export a grid to Excel. Now I get these ‘Sorry, we couldn't find C:\users\xxx\xxx.xlsx. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?’ when I try to open the Excel that has been downloaded from Pigment.Does anyone else also get these error messages or knows how to fix them? By the way: the Excel Pigment connector works just fine, so that's a good workaround. But you also want to be able to simply download a grid to Excel… Thanks,Bas

Hello. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Our user cannot access Pigment with error: 400 Login failed. User was added to Pigment long time ago, last login was 3 month ago. 

I’m trying to use the native Pigment connector to integrate S4Hana public cloud. I’m using the documentation in guide “Connect Pigment With SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud” but it is not working as suggested. I have used SAP commnication users and business users but I can not get any services to load once I want to import data. I’m missing some details that are not described in the guide. Has anyone set this up successfully and can share with me the specifics? -type of SAP user -permissions or roles required-other general things you had to do to get it to work?It would also be nice to be able to test the connection and accessible services straight from the workspace settings instead of having to go to the import option of a block.Thanks

Hello,I’m trying to sort by subtotal but I don’t succeed, can you please help ? I have a metric (grid) with 2 dimensions in my columns. I would like to sort by descending value order for the 1st dimension of my column, i’m unable to do that. Do you have any idea how to do it please ? Thanks 

Hi,I have two metrics with the same data type: dimension (Month) and the dimension structure for both is the same. The concept is that I have deadlines for different dimension items. I was to append these two metrics because one is the prior forecast deadlines and the other metric is the current forecast deadlines. I want the new metric to have both.  When I do metric1 + metric2 i get this error:“Arithmetic operators only accepts same type arithmetic inputs after implicit casting, received Dimension (Month) operands” Please help! Thank you! 

hello,I’d like to freeze some columns in a table so that they stay visible while scrolling. Is it possible ?

Hi community, I need to sort the values in the table from high to low but I need to pivot it to pivot x dims in columns (e.g. Country, Client, Opportunity). If I use the traditional Sorting function of Pigment, it will sort only within the last dimension (in my case Opportunity).Is there a way to sort values disregarding dimensions but still keep them in my pivot?Thanks!

Is there a way to allow a user to trigger an import configuration for a list in application A, from a board in application B?When I attempt to configure the button it is only showing me lists from application B. 

Hello Pigment team,we use the export API for almost one year, but we have suddenly got error 429 in our export job using the API. Not for every job, but it happens often. Hello All, I’m currently trying to build an effective date for Merit increases and my input is as follows dimensioned by country and year. Right now, I’m trying to populate the table below with the month of the year e.g. FY23 should should December. I tried writing a formula TIMEDIM(ASM_Input_Merit Date, Month) and convert the data by Month.Month of the Year but it doesn’t work. Any suggestions on how I should write this formula?

I have a CSV file with a column indicating  the month dimension. It is “Jan 25”, “Feb 25”, etc. On the initial import screen it looks correct,however, as soon as I map it to the Pigment property (Month dimension type) it shows in the preview as My imported data is all loaded into the wrong months. I want it to just take the exact value in my CSV as the name for the Month dimension instead of converting a date. I tried double-quoting the field in the CSV, that didn’t help. Loading it into a regular text property works fine so it doesn’t appear to be an issue with the source data itself.  

Hello,As I start my pigment training and work through the formula exercises, I have a question regarding the order of using multiple modifiers within a single formula.I’ve read that the sequence is important when combining BY and FILTER. In the same way, are there any best practices or modeling guidelines that affect performance or functionality when using several modifiers and operators together in random sequence, such as BY, BY->, Select, Filter, Add, Remove, or Exclude?Below is one example from the formula exercises (it may be a simple formula but I am thinking about what sequence to follow for complex formulae):'EE_Calc_MonthlySalary_+increase'[BY SUM: -> EE_Data_Stand.Area][by: 'GL Account'."11100"][remove sum: Employee][by :-> MAP_Datatype] Thanks

HiI want to restrict users on selecting only months with actual data and set up the Current month (the last month with actual data) as default for the Month selector.I created the Actual Months (multiselect) and Current Month item variables.Then I set up Actual Months as available items and tried to set up Current Month as default item.But after applying these settings nothing happend, meaning the Month page selector shows All, not a particular - Current - monthWhen I returned to Selector options I found out that default item for month had been changed to All values.

Hello-As I begin pigment training and work through the formula exercises, I’ve noticed that while CONSTANT is the default allocation method, I often omit it, assuming it will apply automatically. However, the post-exercise walkthroughs consistently include it explicitly.Is there an advantage to always specifying CONSTANT (for allocation) or SUM (for aggregation), even when they’re defaults?Thanks,Sudhakar
