Hi,I am create a P&L where I have the GL rolling up into a P&L line which then rolls up into a P&L category.However, the GL rolls up nicely into the line item but Im struggling to get the line items to roll into the category. Im using metrics to populate my line items rows and dimensions for GL and Category -  In the screen shot I want the GL 60110 to roll up to Core Processing and for this to roll up to Revenue.  But instead it simply duplicates the Core Processing line.Here are the summary settings - The metrics feeding this table are dimensioned by P&L Line Item (as a dimension), P&L Line item category (property of P&L

Hi, I would like to filter the metrics in a table so I have the option of only showing totals. User would then toggle between the summary and detailed view via a button on a board. How can it be done?

Hi Is it possible to define a cell as in use/active even when the result is zero?I have a filter that distinguishes active cells so can I combine this with the formula so it returns a zero?Thanks,

Hi, seeing as the MCP connection provides the same access rights as already configured in pigment, is there a way to limit that on the MCP side? For example - connecting to claude, the client wants the have the same user rights but no one should have write rights. so Admin would see everything, but won’t be able to change anything (data/structure) from Claude. thanks

Hi,Is there a way to reference the current month value even while using PREVIOUSOF()? Since using iterative dimension is not allowed, is there a way to shift month values so that value returned by PREVIOUSOF() is the current month value instead of previous month?

Hi,Another simple one.I have a Transaction list with monthly data for revenues for customers, product types and dates.I want to create a metric that adds up the revenue based on the dimensions selected for the metric.The dimensions selected are present in the Transaction list.In the formula I type the column I’m looking to aggregate from the transaction list but I cannot see the aggregation differentiate between Business Segments at all.What am I doing wrong? Thanks,G  

Hi I’m trying to do a simple look up using ITEM.I have Transaction list, which contains customer data and the Product Type. Product Type is Dimension data type.I have created a Dimension that allocates each Product Type to a correspondent Business segment, which I created as another dimension.In that given transaction list, I’m looking to add the business segment, I created another column with dimension business segment as data type and I’m using ITEM to bring the Business segment values.ITem('IWSR - NRR Data'.ProductType.Name,'IWSR - Business Segments'.Name)The formula returns nothing and does not flag any errors.What could be the issue?BestG

It would be great to have a built-in feature that allows users to quickly identify and display only overridden values by applying a formula or filter. This eliminates the need for manual, visual inspection (side- blue bar) of each entry , improving efficiency and reducing the risk of missing changesExample: if there is metric:datatype: “number”  dimensionality: city If there’s a way to quickly identify cities where there is a override (without creation of another formula to compare the values)

Hi All,Do you know how to implement a recursive calculation using MIN() function? Take this metric for example. The goal is that in a different metric I want the minimum value from TEST 1 except that I want the calculation to be recursive. If I am in Aug24, I want minimum value from Aug24-Apr25, if it is Sep24 then minimum value from Sep24-Apr25 and so on.

Hello,I have an import configuration that imports a source metric to a target metric. The values in the target are cleared prior to import, scoped on the Version dimension. However, now I find myself in need to clear the values prior to import but on the intersect of two dimensions (Version x Week). In the UI there is no way to do this. Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up a dependent dropdown on my Board so that the 'Year' selector filters based on the 'Version' selected, but I’ve hit a roadblock. In the Selector Options menu, I’ve changed the Adaptive Display for 'Year' to 'Dependent page selections,' but the menu doesn't expand to show the Parent Selector or Relationship settings-it just stays blank and won't let me configure the link. Do I need to pre-set a specific Property in my Year dimension list or create a Boolean Metric before Pigment will show the configuration options in this menu? Any guidance on the exact steps to make these relationship settings visible would be a huge help!

Hi everyone! I’m looking to move a specific set of Metrics and Tables from "App A" to "App B" without rebuilding them from scratch.My current plan is: Duplicate App A. Share necessary Dimensions/Lists from the original App A to the duplicate. Delete the local versions of those lists and all unnecessary metrics in the duplicate. My questions: Is there a risk of "broken formula" loops when swapping local lists for shared ones in a duplicated app? Is there a more efficient way to "Bulk Copy" metrics across apps while maintaining dimension mapping? How do you all handle the cleanup of dependencies in this scenario? Thanks for the advice!

We can’t edit snapshots and scenarios always have a risk of changing if underlying metrics change. How do you all do budget transfers? ie. I need to move a headcount from marketing to finance, how would I do this? And I would want all the related headcount costs to move too in the snapshot.

Hi,I’m wondering if it’s possible to create Year Over Year calculations that apply to Months, Quarters, and Years. It works fine at the Total Year Level:But it does not allow you to expand “Years” and view the corresponding YoY calc for quarters:Is there a workaround for this?​​​​​

Hi,Id like to take data from a source metric dimensioned by month, GL, department and project and map this into a P&L line item metric dimensioned by month. However, as mapping metrics must be formatted by the dimension of the target what Im unsure how to go about this. In a different life I would create a list derived from the P&L line items and use this to format my mapping table but alas I dont think this is possible with Pigment. Any thoughts on how best to approach this?Thanks,

Hello,I have a grid with inventory value and expected write-downs by month, with inventory value broken down by month. This displays correctly in a grid view, but in a chart view the write-downs disappear. Is this a known issue and has anyone been able to solve this? 

Hi, currently the Pigment connector in google sheets breaks when the file is copied, is there any way to retain the existing connections, or is this a google sheets thing (like formulas pointing to external sheets breaking)?
